国内で新たに麻疹確診患者1名が増えた。 南部の20代男性で、 最近の海外渡航歴はなく、4月15～18日に
かけて相次いで鼻水や発熱の症状が現れ、病院の検査を経て通報され、本24日、確定診断された。 この患者は、疾病管制署が4月5日に発表した域外輸入症例（南部の20代男性）が確診される前の感染期中に病院受診時に接触しており、 この患者は域外輸入症例の二次感染者と判断された。これまでに、衛生単位は、 1～6歳の1名を含む、 接触者計 129名を掌握しているが、 既にMMRワクチンの接種が実施され、5月7日まで医学観察が続けられる。
疾管署は、この確診患者と同じ交通機関や関連の公共スペース（付表参考『20180424B 感染が考えられる期間中の麻疹集団感染患者活動歴』）に出入りしていた場合、自主健康管理を18日間（最後の接触日から起算）実施し、もし感染を疑う症状が出た場合、マスクをして速やかに医療機関を受診し、医師に対してはその接触歴を伝えるようにとしている。
疾管署は、本日、特別に台湾大学医学院内科の陳宜君教授を招き、国内における麻疹のグループ保護力と個人の予防についてお話いただいた。陳教授は、我が国における幼児のMMRワクチンの第2剤接種完成率は97%以上に達しており、同年齢グループの保護力はとても良いものだと指摘； 20～40歳の人々もまたワクチン接種世代であり、7割の人には麻疹に対する保護力があり、人々は過度なパニックを起こして

A new case of measles in the country were added. He is a man of his 20s in the south. He had no recent travel history abroad. From April 15 to 18, symptoms such as runny nose and fever occurred one after another. The hospital tested and reported, and the case was diagnosed on this (April 24) day. Since the case has a contact with the previous imported case (a man in his 20s in the southern region) during the communicable period before the diagnosis, announced by the Centers for Disease and Control (herein after as “CDC”) on April 5, the case was considered as a secondary infection with the imported case. At present, the health unit has a total of 129 contacts, including one 1-to-6-year-old contact. They have been vaccinated against measles, mumps, and a Rubella (MMR) and medical observation will be continued to May 7.

國內新增1例麻疹確定病例，為南部20多歲男性，近期無出國史，4月15日至18日間陸續出現流鼻水、發燒症狀，經醫院採檢通報，於今（24）日檢驗確診。由於該個案為疾病管制署4月5日公布之境外移入病例（南部20多歲男性）確診前可傳染期間之就醫接觸者，研判可能為該境外移入個案之次波感染者。目前衛生單位已掌握接觸者共129人，其中包含1至6歲接觸者共1人，已接種麻疹、腮腺炎、德國麻疹混合疫苗（MMR），將持續追蹤監測至5月7日。
疾管署呼籲，由於個案可傳染期間有公共場所活動史（如附表），請民眾如曾於附表時段出入相關場所，應自主健康管理18天（自最後接觸日起算），一旦出現疑似症狀，請戴口罩儘速就醫並告知接觸史。
