疾病管制署が4月15日発表した2件の麻疹陽性サンプルについて、実験室での追加検査の結果、2名の通報された患者サンプルの遺伝子タイプはワクチンのものとは異なるが、今回の国内における麻疹クラスターのウィルスタイプと一致したために、この2人を麻疹患者と確定した。 海外からの輸入症例が引き起こした麻疹クラスターの確診患者数は最初の指標患者を含め、これまでで8人となった。
疾管署は、2名の確診患者は、それぞれ北部の20代女性（ケース7）及び30代女性（ケース8）で、いずれも4月3日に北部の30代男性確診患者（ケース3の客室乗務員）と業務上の接触があった人たちだ。 それぞれ、4月6日と8日にMMRワクチンの接種をしているが、4月11日、12日に相次いで疑い症状が現れていたが、衛生単位による診察や検査への協力、疾管署での検査と遺伝子配列のシークエンシングにより、本日（17日）確定診断された。
この度のクラスターに対し、衛生単位はこれまでに接触者1,804人を把握しており、5月4日まで観察が続けられる。確診患者と同じ交通手段を利用した、或いは、公共の場（付表参考『20180417C 感染が考えられる期間中の麻疹集団感染患者活動歴』）に出入りした人たちには、（最後の接触日から起算して）18日間は自主的に健康管理をし、もし発熱や発疹などの感染を疑う症状が出た場合には、マスクをして速やかに病院を受診し医師に対して関連の接触歴を告げるようにと呼び掛けている。

According to the results of further laboratory genetic sequencing of the 2 measles-positive specimens announced by the Department of Disease Control on April 15, the genotypes of the two reported cases were different from those of the vaccine strains, while it matched the virus type of domestic clusters this time. Two people were diagnosed as the cases of measles; A total of 8 cases (including the first indicator case) have been diagnosed as a result of the measles cluster that has occurred since the beginning of the case imported.
CDC stated that the two confirmed cases were women in their 20s in the north (case 7) and women in their 30s (case 8). They all had contacts through job with already diagnosed 30-year-old man in the north (case 3: flight attendant). MMR was used for them on April 6 and April 8 respectively. Suspected symptoms occurred one after another on April 11 and 12. The health unit assisted with medical treatment and inspection, and they were diagnosed on this day (April 17) after the CDC’s inspection and sequencing.
In response to this clustered infection, the health unit has now obtained 1,804 peoples who have contacts with the cases and will continue monitoring until May 4. The health unit calls for people who used the same transportation means and/or who had been to the same public places (see the attached table), to manage his/her health care for 18 days (since the last contact date) individually. If there appeared any symptom such as fever or rash, wear a mask and seek medical advice and inform the doctor about the contact history.

有關疾病管制署4月15日公布之2件麻疹陽性檢體，經實驗室進一步基因定序結果顯示，2名通報個案之檢體基因型別與疫苗株型別不同，而與此次國內麻疹群聚感染之病毒型別一致，故研判2人均為麻疹確定病例；本起境外移入個案引發之麻疹群聚案截至目前共計8人確診（含指標個案）。
疾管署表示，2名確診個案分別為北部20多歲女性（案7）及30多歲女性（案8），均為4月3日公布之北部30多歲男性確診個案（案3空服員）工作接觸者，分別於4月6日及8日接種麻疹、腮腺炎、德國麻疹混合疫苗（MMR），陸續於4月11日、12日出現疑似症狀，由衛生單位協助就醫、採檢通報，經疾管署檢驗、定序後於今（17）日確診。
針對此次群聚感染，衛生單位目前已掌握個案接觸者共1,804人，將持續監測至5月4日。呼籲民眾曾與確定病例搭乘相同大眾交通運輸或出入公共場所活動（如附表），請自主健康管理18天（自最後接觸日起算），如出現發燒、出疹等疑似症狀，請戴口罩儘速就醫並告知醫師相關接觸史。
今（2018）年截至目前國內共計13例麻疹確定病例，7例國內感染；6例為境外移入病例。2015至2017年累計49例確定病例（分別為29、14及6例），其中30例為國內感染、19例為境外移入，感染國家以中國大陸（9例）
