9月14日、農業農村部新聞弁公室は、内モンゴル自治区シリンゴル盟アバグ旗 及び 河南省新郷市獲嘉県の二地区で アフリカ豚コレラ （宮本注： 以下『ASF』）が発生したと発表した。
9月12日、内モンゴル自治区畜牧獣医部門がASFを調査していた際に、シリンゴル盟アバグ旗にある養豚場でブタが原因不明の病死をしていた； 河南省畜牧獣医部門の調査時に新郷市獲嘉県の養豚場でブタが原因不明の病死をしていた。
9月14日、農業農村部は、中国動物疾病予防管理センターから、中国動物衛生疫学センター（国家外来動物疾病研究センター）が上述二地区におけるブタの原因不明死がASFであると確定診断したとの報告を受け取った。内モンゴル自治区アバグ旗の養豚家で飼育されていたブタのうち16頭が発症、16頭が病死； 河南省獲嘉県の養豚家で飼育されていたブタのうち148頭が発症、64頭が病死している。

农业农村部新闻办公室9月14日发布，内蒙古自治区锡林郭勒盟阿巴嘎旗和河南省新乡市获嘉县各发生一起生猪非洲猪瘟疫情。
9月12日，内蒙古自治区畜牧兽医部门在开展非洲猪瘟疫情排查时，发现锡林郭勒盟阿巴嘎旗一养殖户生猪不明原因死亡；河南省畜牧兽医部门在开展非洲猪瘟疫情排查时，发现新乡市获嘉县一养殖场生猪不明原因死亡。9月14日，农业农村部接到中国动物疫病预防控制中心报告，经中国动物卫生与流行病学中心（国家外来动物疫病研究中心）确诊上述生猪不明原因死亡为非洲猪瘟。内蒙古阿巴嘎旗养殖户饲养的生猪发病16头，死亡16头；河南省获嘉县养殖场发病生猪148头，死亡64头。
