04月21日、 農業農村部 新聞弁公室は、 四川省巴中市が押収した外省からの違法搬入されたブタからアフリカ豚コレラ （宮本注： 以下 『ASF』 ）を検出したと発表した。
農業農村部は、04月21日、中国動物疾病予防管理センターから、巴中市南江県下両高速出入り口の臨時動物衛生監督検査ステーションが押収した車両1台が違法に外省から搬入しようとしていたブタの中から四川省動物疾病予防管理センターがASFを検出したとの報告を受け取った。 押収時、 車には生ブタ106頭がいたが、2頭が病死していた。

After being diagnosed by the Sichuan Center for Animal Disease Prevention and Control, the African swine fever epidemic was detected among the illegally transported pigs on a vehicle seized by Bazhong City, at the temporary animal health supervision and inspection station of Xialiang Expressway in Nanjiang County, Bazhong City. 农业农村部新闻办公室4月21日发布，四川省巴中市从查获的外省违规调运生猪中排查出非洲猪瘟疫情。
4月21日，农业农村部接到中国动物疫病预防控制中心报告，经四川省动物疫病预防控制中心确诊，在巴中市南江县下两高速出入口临时动物卫生监督检查站查获的1车外省违规调运生猪中排查出非洲猪瘟疫情。查获时，该车共载有生猪106头，死亡2头。
疫情发生后，当地已按照要求启动应急响应机制，对所有生猪进行无害化处理，对相关处置地点、环境、道路等
