8月30日、 農業農村部 新聞弁公室は、 安徽省蕪湖市南陵県でアフリカ豚コレラ（宮本注： 以下『ASF』）が集団発生したと発表した。
8月29日、安徽省畜牧獣医部門がASFの流行調査の際に、蕪湖市南陵県にある某養豚場で飼育されていたブタが原因不明の病死をしていたことを発見。 8月30日、中国動物衛生疫学センター （国家外来動物疾病研究センター）の検査によりこれがASFであると確診された。 当該養豚場には、ブタ459頭が飼育されていたが、これまでのところ、 185頭が発症、 80頭が病死している。
ASF発生後、 農業農村部は 直ちに監督指導グループを安徽省に派遣した。 現地は 要求に基づき緊急対応メカニズムを起動し、封鎖や殺処分、無害化処理、消毒などの措置を講じており、既に発症したブタと同グループのブタ379頭を殺処分、 病死ブタと殺処分されたブタ全ての無害化処理を採っている。 同時に、全てのブタ、感受性動物及びその製品の封鎖地区からの搬出、 封鎖地区へのブタの搬入が禁止

On August 30, 2018, the Information Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced that an African swine fever epidemic occurred at Nanling County of Wuhu City in Anhui Province.
On August 29, the Anhui Provincial Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department discovered that pigs raised at a farm in Nanling County, Wuhu City died of unknown causes during the investigation of the African swine fever epidemic. On August 30th, it was diagnosed as an African swine fever epidemic by the China Center for Animal Health and Epidemiology (National Center for Animal Diseases Research). At the pig farm, there are 459 pigs in total, and as of now, there are 185 cases and 80 deaths.
Immediately after the outbreak, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs sent a supervising team to Anhui Province. 8月29日，安徽省畜牧兽医部门在开展非洲猪瘟疫情排查时，发现芜湖市南陵县某养殖场生猪不明原因死亡。8月30日，经中国动物卫生与流行病学中心 （国家外来动物疫病研究中心）确诊为 非洲猪瘟疫情。 该场共存栏 生猪459头， 截至目前， 发病 185头，死亡 80头。
