2月18日、農業農村部 新聞弁公室は、 広西チワン族自治区北海市銀海区で アフリカ豚コレラ （宮本注： 以下『ASF』）が集団発生したと発表した。

On February 18, the Information Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced that two (2) African Swine Fever epidemics occurred at Yinhai District of Beihai City in Guangxi Autonomous Region.
On February 18, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs received a report from the China Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center mentioning that China Center for Animal Health and Epidemiology diagnosed two (2) African Swine Fever outbreaks occurred at two pig farms located at Yinhai District of Beihai City.
The said two pig farms had 23,555 live pigs in total, of which 1,629 pigs got sick and 924 died.
Immediately after the outbreak, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs sent a supervising team to the site. The local government has started the emergency response mechanism according to the requirements, and adopted measures such as blockade, culling, harmless treatment, disinfection, etc., further, treated all the sick and culled pigs harmlessly. 2月18日， 农业农村部 接到 中国动物疫病预防控制中心 报告，经 中国动物卫生与流行病学中心 确诊, 北海市银海区两个养殖小区发生非洲猪瘟疫情。 截至目前， 上述两个养殖小区共存栏 生猪23555头，发病1629头，死亡924头。
