10月16日、農業農村部は、 江蘇省農業委員会から、江蘇省無錫市宜興市のアフリカ豚コレラ （宮本注： 以下 『ASF』 ）感染地区が 評価検収基準に合格した為、その封鎖を解除するとの報告を受け取った。
江蘇省無錫市でのASF発生後、現地は、 『ASF緊急対応プラン』と『ASF予防管理技術規範』（試行版： 今回から『施行版』との表示が加えられました）の要求に従い、封鎖や殺処分、消毒、無害化処理などの対応措置を講じてきた。 感染地区内では、ブタの殺処分完了後6週間の連続モニタリング調査をしてきたが、域内からのASF発症例や陽性サンプルの新たな発見は見つからなかった。
10月15 ～ 16日、無錫市農業委員会は 汚染地区に対する実験室での検査と現場での評価検収を実施したが、検収の結果、感染地区の封鎖解除規定に符合しており、ASFが既に消滅しているものと判断された。 現地政府は 10月17日 00:00時をもって正式に当該地区の封鎖解除令を出す予定だ。 農業農村部は 現地畜牧獣医部門に対し、ASFのモニタリングの強化を継続し、積極的に予防管理措置を採り、ASF再発を防

农业农村部 10月16日 接到江苏省农业委员会 报告， 经评估验收合格， 江苏省无锡市宜兴市 非洲猪瘟疫区将解除封锁。
江苏省无锡市宜兴市非洲猪瘟疫情发生后，当地按照 《非洲猪瘟疫情应急预案》 和 《非洲猪瘟防治技术规范》 （试行）要求， 采取了封锁、扑杀、消毒、无害化处理等疫情处置措施。 疫区内应扑杀生猪扑杀完成后，经6周连续监测排查，疫区内未发现新的病例和监测阳性。
