11月17日、農業農村部新聞弁公室は、江西省上饒市鄱陽県と、雲南省昆明市呈貢区、四川省成都市新津県の3地区でそれぞれで アフリカ豚コレラ （宮本注： 以下『ASF』）が 検出されたと発表した。
11月17日12時、農業農村部は、中国動物衛生疫学センター（国家外来動物疾病研究センター）が、鄱陽県の養豚場、呈貢区の屠殺場、新津県の養豚場でASF発生を確定診断したとの中国動物疾病予防管理センター報告を受け取った。 うち、鄱陽県の養豚場には150頭のブタが飼育されていたが、10頭が発症、10頭が病死している； 呈貢区の屠殺場には合計348頭のブタが屠殺を待っていた； 新津県養豚場では110頭が飼育されており、27頭が発症、13頭が病死している。

On November 17, 2018, the Information Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced that an African Swine Fever epidemic was detected at three places of Poyang County of Shangrao City in Jiangxi Province; Chenggong District of Kunming City in Yunnan Province and Xinjin County of Sichuan Province.
At 12:00 on November 17, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs received a report from the China Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center mentioning that the China Center for Animal Health and Epidemiology (National Center for Animal Diseases Research) detected African Swine Fever occurred at a pig farm in Poyang County, slaughterhouse in Chenggong District and a pig farm in Xinjin County. Among them, there were 150 live pigs at the farm in Poyang County of which 10 pigs got sick and 10 died; 348 pigs to be slaughtered in the Chenggong District slaughterhouse; 110 pigs in the Xinjin County farm of which 27 pigs got sick and 13 died.
Immediately after the outbreak, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs sent a supervising team to the site. The local government has started the emergency response mechanism according to the requirements, and adopted measures

农业农村部新闻办公室11月17日发布，江西省上饶市鄱阳县、云南省昆明市呈贡区、四川省成都市新津县排查出非洲猪瘟疫情。
11月17日12时，农业农村部接到中国动物疫病预防控制中心报告，经中国动物卫生与流行病学中心（国家外来动物疫病研究中心）确诊，鄱阳县一养殖场、呈贡区一屠宰场、新津县一养殖场排查出非洲猪瘟疫情。其中，鄱阳县养殖场存栏生猪150头，发病10头，死亡10头；呈贡区屠宰场共有待宰生猪348头；新津县养殖场存栏生猪110头，发病27头，死亡13头。
疫情发生后，农业农村部立即派出督导组赴当地。当地已按照要求启动应急响应机制，采取封锁、扑杀、无害化
