10月26日、農業農村部新聞弁公室は、貴州省畢節市の七星関区で アフリカ豚コレラ （宮本注： 以下 『ASF』 ）が発生したと発表した。
10月26日16時、農業農村部は、貴州省動物疾病予防管理センターが検査に出したサンプルが中国動物衛生疫学センター（国家外来動物疾病研究センター）により、ASFであると確定診断されたとの中国動物疾病予防管理センター報告を受け取った。
陽性となったサンプルは、貴州省畢節市七星関区にある養豚場3か所からのもので、

On October 26, 2018, the Information Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced that an African Swine Fever epidemic took place at Qixingguan District of Bijie City in Guizhou Province.
At 16 o’clock of October 26, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs received a report from the China Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center mentioning that the samples submitted by the Guizhou Provincial Center for Animal Disease Control and Prevention were diagnosed as African swine fever by the China Center for Animal Health and Epidemiology (National Center for Animal Disease Research).
The samples turned out to be positive for ASF were from three (3) pig farmers at Qixingguan District of Bijie City in Guizhou Province.
The three farmers had 49 live pigs of which 25 pigs got sick and 25 died;
Immediately after the outbreak, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs sent a supervising team to the site. 农业农村部新闻办公室10月26日发布，贵州省毕节市七星关区发生生猪非洲猪瘟疫情。
10月26日16时，农业农村部接到中国动物疫病预防控制中心报告，贵州省动物疫病预防控制中心送检样品经中国动物卫生与流行病学中心 （国家外来动物疫病研究中心） 确诊为非洲猪瘟。 阳性样品来自贵州省毕节市七星关区某村三个养殖户，三个养殖户存栏生猪49头、发病25头、死亡25头。
