07月24日、 農業農村部 新聞弁公室は、重慶市江津区が押収した外省から違法搬入されたブタからアフリカ豚コレラ （宮本注： 以下 『ASF』 ）を検出したと発表した。
農業農村部は、7月24日、江津区の珞璜高速道路サービスエリアで差し押さえた外省から違法調達されたブタにASFが発生したことを重慶市動物疾病予防管理センターが確診したとの中国動物疾病予防管理センターからの報告を受け取った。ブタの押収時、ロット内のブタ24頭中、4頭が発病、1頭が病死している。

The Information Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced that the Jiangjin District of Chongqing City detected an outbreak of African swine fever from the seized illegal transfer of live pigs from other provinces on July 24, 2020.
On July 24, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs received a report from the China Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center, which was confirmed by the Chongqing Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center, and the African swine fever epidemic was detected in the illegal transfer of live pigs from other provinces in the service area of Luohuang Expressway in Jiangjin District. 7月24日，农业农村部接到中国动物疫病预防控制中心报告，经重庆市动物疫病预防控制中心确诊，在江津区珞璜高速公路服务区查获的外省违规调运生猪中排查出非洲猪瘟疫情。查获时，该批生猪共24头，发病4头，死亡1头。
疫情发生后，当地已按照要求启动应急响应，对所有生猪进行扑杀和无害化处理，对相关场所、沿途道路及运输
