3月18日24時までに、新型コロナウィルスの全省における累計報告確診患者数は1378例（うち、海外からの輸入症例28例）、累計退院者数1318例（海外からの輸入症例1例を含む）、累計死者数8例となっている。
18日、全省では新たに海外からの輸入症例9例が増えたが、内訳は、広州で5例（英・比各2例、仏1例）、深圳で2例（英）、梅州1例（泰）、肇慶1例（仏）となっている。 具体的な行動については以下の通り：

患者①
李 Xさん、 21歳女性、 広東省戸籍、広州での居住地は天河区興華街、 彼女は英国の某大学学生だ。
3月16日、李 Xさんは、南方航空CZ7847便にてアムステルダムに飛び、そこでトランジットをしてCZ0308便に搭乗、
3月17日、広州白雲国際空港に到着、 専用車にて指定隔離地点に転送され、サンプル採取の後、検査に回された。
3月18日、李 Xさんの新型コロナウィルスの核酸検査結果が陽性となり、即座に広州市第八人民医院に転送されて、隔離治療に。 入院検査では発熱などの症状はなく、CT検査で両肺下葉に炎症が見られた。 当日午後、専門家による立会診断の元、新型コロナウィルス肺炎患者として確診された。
3月18日までの時点で見つけられた濃厚接触者は27名に達するが、既に全員が集中隔離されている。

As of 24:00 on March 18, the province has reported a total of 1378 confirmed cases of novel coronavirus pneumonia (including 28 imported cases from abroad), 1,318 discharged from hospital (including 1 imported case), and 8 deaths. On the day of the 18th, 9 newly diagnosed imported cases were imported from across the province. Case 1
Ms. Li, female, 21 years old, registered in Guangdong, China. The residence in Guangzhou is Xinghua Street, Tianhe District. She is a student at a British university.
On March 16, Ms. Li took the CZ7847 flight from the United Kingdom then transited to CZ0308 flight via Amsterdam, Denmark, and arrived at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport on March 17. The special car transferred her to the designated isolation point and samples are collected for inspection.
On March 18th, Li’s test result was positive for the novel coronavirus, she was transferred to the Eighth People’s Hospital of Guangzhou for isolation and treatment. There were no symptoms of discomfort such as fever, and CT examination showed little inflammation in the lower part of both lungs. In the afternoon of the same day, a diagnosis of novel coronavirus pneumonia was confirmed by experts’ consultation.
As of March 18, 27 close contacts were initially screened and all have been quarantined.
Case 2
Ms. Li, female, 35 years old, registered in Guangdong, China. She lives in Liede Street, Tianhe District, Guangzhou. On March 7, Ms. Li went to London for a business trip.
On March 13th, she took flight CA848 from London to Shanghai, then took the connecting flight CZ3524 to
Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport on March 15. Rested at home after returning.
On March 17, after Zhang, a colleague who travelled to the UK on business trips, was diagnosed with new coronary pneumonia, Ms. Li was transferred as a close contact to a centralized isolation point for medical observation, and samples were taken for examination.
