台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、9月02日、「新たにCOVID-19確診症例が5例増えたが、それぞれ、本土症例1例、輸入症例4例となっている；更に、確診症例中、新たに1例が死亡した」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例1例（第16112号）は、30代の男性。他の原因で病院を受診して検査を受けたところ本日確診された（Ct値37.5）。患者は無症状感染者とされたが、衛生単位が病院と地域社会の調査と予防を開始しており、1名をリストアップ、その他についても疫学調査中だ」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日新たに増えた死亡例1例（第9933号）は、60代男性で、慢性疾患歴と萬華区での活動歴があった。5月21日にのどの炎症感や咳などの症状が現れ、5月27日に病院で検査と入院治療を受け、6月03日に確診され、6月27日に死亡していた」と説明。
指揮センターは、「最近隔離を解除された確診症例については、5月11日～ 8月31日迄に発表された14,796例中、既に13,692人が隔離を解除されており、確診患者総数の92.5％が隔離解除されたことになる」と指摘する。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on Sept. 02 that there were 5 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Taiwan consisting of 1 local case and 4 imported cases. There was one (1) new death among the confirmed cases.
The command center stated that one new local case (Case 16112) was a 30-year-old male who sought medical examination for other reasons and was diagnosed today (Ct value 37.5). The case was an asymptomatic infection. The health unit has initiated hospital and community investigations and prevention. One contact has been listed, and the rest of the disease is under investigation.
The command center explained that there was one new death case (case 9933) today, a male in his 60s with a history of chronic diseases and a history of activities in Wanhua District. He developed throat irritation, coughing and other symptoms on May 21. He went to a doctor for examination and was hospitalized on May 27. He was diagnosed on June 3 and died on June 27.
The command center pointed out that as for the recently released diagnosed cases from isolation, 13,692 people have been released from quarantine, among 14,796 confirmed cases announced from May 11 to August 29. The number of people released from quarantine has reached 92.5% of the confirmed cases.

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(2)日公布國內新增5例COVID-19確定病例，分別為1例本土及4例境外移入；另確診個案中新增1例死亡。
指揮中心表示，今日新增之1例本土病例(案16112)，為30多歲男性，因其他原因就醫採檢，於今日確診(Ct值37.5)。個案為無症狀感染，衛生單位已啟動醫院及社區調查與防治，已匡列接觸者1名，餘疫調中。
指揮中心說明，今日新增1例死亡個案(案9933)，為60多歲男性，有慢性病史及萬華區活動史，5月21日出現喉嚨刺激感、咳嗽等症狀，5月27日就醫採檢並住院治療，6月3日確診，6月27日死亡。
指揮中心指出，近期確診個案解隔離情形，5月11日至8月31日累計公布14,796位確診個案中，已有13,692人解除隔離，解隔離人數達確診人數92.5%。
