台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日8月15日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は15,792例（うち本土症例15,596例、輸入症例196例）；更に、確診症例中、22例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例15596例は、5歳未満から90歳以上の男性7310例、女性8284例、性別調査中2例だ。患者分布は、新台北市（3084例）、桃園市（1973例）、台中市（1897例）、台北市（1789例）、高雄市（1286例）、台南市（971例）、彰化県（686例）、苗栗県（521例）、新竹県（494例）、新竹市（362例）、雲林県（361例）、宜蘭県（352例）、屏東県（348例）、花蓮県（274例）、南投県（267例）、嘉義県（227例）、基隆市（227例）、金門県（126例）、嘉義市（126例）、台東県（121例）、澎湖県（97例）、連江県（7例）となる」としている。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Aug 15) that there were 15,792 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 15,596 local and 196 imported cases; further, there were 22 deaths.
The command center stated that the new 15596 local cases today are 7310 males and 8284 females, (2 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and over 90s; The distribution of cases is New Taipei City (3084 cases), Taoyuan City (1974 cases), Taichung City (1897 cases), Taipei City (1789 cases), Kaohsiung City (1286 cases), Tainan City (971 cases), Changhua County (686 cases), Miaoli County (521 cases), Hsinchu County (494 cases), Hsinchu City (362 cases), Yunlin County (361 cases), Yilan County (352 cases), Pingtung County (348 cases), Hualien County (274 cases), Nantou County (267 cases), Chiayi County (227 cases), Keelung City (227 cases), Jinmen County (126 cases), Chiayi City (126 cases), Taitung County (121 cases), Penghu County (97 cases), Lianjiang County (7 cases).
