台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日8月01日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は16,584例（うち本土症例16,352例、輸入症例232例）；更に、確診症例中、36例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例16352例は、5歳未満から90歳以上の男性7802例、女性8541例、性別調査中9例だ。患者分布は、新台北市（2831例）、台中市（1987例）、桃園市（1840例）、高雄市（1622例）、台北市（1574例）、台南市（1313例）、彰化県（740例）、苗栗県（539例）、新竹県（500例）、屏東県（442例）、雲林県（427例）、新竹市（396例）、宜蘭県（358例）、南投県（322例）、嘉義県（320例）、花蓮県（294例）、基隆市（236例）、嘉義市（216例）、台東県（182例）、澎湖県（112例）、金門県（91例）、連江県（10例）となる」としている。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Aug 01) that there were 16,584 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 16,352 local and 232 imported cases; further, there were 34 deaths.
The command center stated that the new 16352 local cases today are 7802 males and 8541 females, (9 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and over 90s; The distribution of cases is New Taipei City (2831 cases), Taichung City (1987 cases), Taoyuan City (1840 cases), Kaohsiung City (1622 cases), Taipei City (1574 cases), Tainan City (1313 cases), Changhua County (740 cases), Miaoli County (539 cases), Hsinchu County (500 cases), Pingtung County (442 cases), Yunlin County (427 cases), Hsinchu City (396 cases), Yilan County (358 cases), Nantou County (322 cases), Chiayi County (320 cases), Hualien County (294 cases), Keelung City (236 cases), Chiayi City (216 cases), Taitung County (182 cases), Penghu County (112 cases), Jinmen County (91 cases), Lianjiang County (10 cases).
