台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日1月8日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は44例（うち本土症例2例：第17414～17415号、輸入症例42例）；更に、確診症例中では、0例の死亡者が出た」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例（第17414～17415号）は、50代の台湾籍男女性各1例だが、桃園空港の感染者と関連していた、詳細は『 ☞ 20220108G 台湾新規増加本土症例2名のリスト 』を参照されたい」としている。
指揮センターは、「本日増えた輸入症例42例は、10代から70代の男性25例、女性16例、1例が調査中（宮本注： 性別が調査中とは？？）であり、12月15日から1月7日の間に、米国（23例）、ベトナム（4例）、フランス（2例）、アルゼンチン、オーストラリア、フィリピン、カナダ、UAE、タイ、ブラジル、スペイン、インド、イタリア及びドイツ（各1例）から入境していたが、あと2例は調査中だ。詳細は『 ☞ 20220108F 台湾新規増加輸入症例42名のリスト 』を参照されたい」としている。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (January 08) that there were 44 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 2 (Cases 17414 – 17415) local and 42 imported cases; further, there was 0 death.
The command center stated that cases 17414 – 17415 are 1 male and 1 female of Taiwanese nationality, aged in their 50s, and they were all related to the Taoyuan Airport infection incident; Details are as attached to the press release.
The command center explained that today there are 42 new cases of immigration from abroad, consisting of 25 males and 16 females 1 case is under investigation, ranging in age from their 10s to 70s. They came from the United States (23 cases), Vietnam (4 cases), France (2 cases), Vietnam (4 cases), France (2 cases), Argentina, Australia, the Philippines, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Brazil, Spain, India, Italy and Germany (1 case each) and other 2 cases are under investigation, between Dec. 15 and Jan. 07; as for the details, please see attached.
The command center’s data shows there have been a total of 5,074,946 notifications related to novel coronavirus pneumonia in China (including 5,055,445 excluded cases). 中央流行疫情指揮中心今(8)日公布國內新增44例COVID-19確定病例，分別為2例本土個案(案17414-17415)及42例境外移入；另確診個案中無新增死亡。
指揮中心表示，本土個案(案17414-17415)分別為本國籍1例男性、1例女性，年齡均為50多歲，均為桃園機場感染事件相關個案；詳如新聞稿附件。
指揮中心表示，今日新增42例境外移入個案，性別為25例男性、16例女性、1例調查中，年齡介於未滿10至70多歲，分別自美國(23例)、越南(4例)、法國(2例)、阿根廷、澳大利亞、菲律賓、加拿大、阿拉伯聯合大公國、泰國、巴西、西班牙、印度、義大利及德國(各1例)入境，另有2例調查中，入境日介於去(2021)年12月15日至今(2022)年1月7日；詳如新聞稿附件。
