台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日5月04日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は28487例（うち本土症例28420例、輸入症例67例：20例は着陸時検査で陽性とされたもの）；更に、確診症例中では、5例の死亡者が出た」と発表した。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (May 04) that there were 28,487 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 28,420 local and 67 imported cases (20 were positive for flight landing tests); further, there were 5 deaths.
The command center stated that the new 28420 local cases today are 13664 males and 14744 females, (12 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and 90s. The distribution of cases is New Taipei City (10151 cases), Taipei City (5538 cases), Taoyuan City (4814 cases), Taichung City (1680 cases), Kaohsiung City (1021 cases), Keelung City (1003 cases), Tainan City (795 cases), Hsinchu County (542 cases), Yilan County (525 cases), Hualien County (450 cases), Pingtung County (428 cases), Changhua County (313 cases), Yunlin County (257 cases), Miaoli County (194 cases), Hsinchu City (182 cases), Chiayi County (140 cases), Nantou County (138 cases), Taitung County (117 cases), Chiayi City (72 cases), Penghu County (34 cases), Jinmen County (20 cases), and Lianjiang County (6 cases). The related epidemic investigation is ongoing.

指揮中心表示，今日新增之28,420例本土病例，為13,664例男性、14,744例女性、12例調查中，年齡介於未滿5歲至90歲以上，個案分布為新北市(10,151例)、臺北市(5,538例)、桃園市(4,814例)、臺中市(1,680例)、高雄市(1,021例)、基隆市(1,003例)、臺南市(795例)、新竹縣(542例)、宜蘭縣(525例)、花蓮縣(450例)、屏東縣(428例)、彰化縣(313例)、雲林縣(257例)、苗栗縣(194例)、新竹市(182例)、嘉義縣(140例)、南投縣(138例)、臺東縣(117例)、嘉義市(72例)、澎湖縣(34例)、金門縣(20例)、連江縣(6例)，相關疫情調查持續進行中。
