台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日5月31日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は80,705例（うち本土症例80,656例、輸入症例49例：18例は着陸時検査で陽性とされたもの）；更に、確診症例中では、90例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例80656例は、5歳未満から90歳以上の男性38638例、女性42001例、性別調査中17例だ。患者分布は、新台北市（14372例）、台中市（10586例）、高雄市（10380例）、桃園市（7826例）、台北市（6707例）、台南市（6485例）、彰化県（4740例）、屏東県（2960例）、新竹県（2064例）、苗栗県（1970例）、新竹市（1734例）、宜蘭県（1649例）、基隆市（1631例）、雲林県（1610例）、南投県（1381例）、花蓮県（1295例）、嘉義県（1146例）、台東県（866例）、嘉義市（776例）、澎湖県（263例）、金門県（206例）、および連江県（9例）、関連の調査が進行中である」としている。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (May 31) that there were 80,705 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 80,656 local and 49 imported cases (18 were positive for flight landing tests); further, there were 90 deaths.
The command center stated that the new 80656 local cases today are 38638 males and 42001 females, (17 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and over 90s. The distribution of cases is New Taipei City (14372 cases), Taichung City (10586 cases), Kaohsiung City (10380 cases), Taoyuan City (7826 cases), Taipei City (6707 cases), Tainan City (6485 cases), Changhua County (4740 cases), Pingtung County (2960 cases), Hsinchu County (2064 cases), Miaoli County (1970 cases), Hsinchu City (1734 cases), Yilan County (1649 cases), Keelung City (1631 cases), Yunlin County (1610 cases), Nantou County (1381 cases), Hualien County (1295 cases), Chiayi County (1146 cases), Taitung County (866 cases), Chiayi City (776 cases), Penghu County (263 cases), Jinmen County (206 cases), Lianjiang County (9 cases). The related epidemic investigation is ongoing.
