中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「本5月01日、 新たにCOVID-19の確診症例1例の本土症例（第1133号）が増えたが、第1102号の同居家族である（宮本注： 第1102号患者は、台湾籍30代男性、中華航空の貨物機パイロットです）」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「第1133号患者は、台湾籍の5歳男児で、最近の海外渡航歴はなく、2021年4月25日に在宅隔離の対象となっていたが、4月29日になって発熱症状が現れ、衛生単位の手配により検査を受けたところ本日確定診断された（Ct値18）。 患者の家庭での接触者2人は、在宅隔離期間を5月15日まで延長した」としている。
指揮センターは、これまでに新型コロナウィルス肺炎に関する通報は、国内累計で208,351例（排除された206,137例を含む）となった。 そのうち確診症例数は1,132例であり、夫々輸入症例996例、本土症例88例、敦睦艦隊36例、航空機感染2例及び不明1例、調査中9例となっている； この他、症例番号530

The Central Epidemic Command Center stated on May 1 that there was one newly confirmed local COVID-19 case (Case 1133), which was a family member of Case 1102.
The command center explained that case 1133 is a 5-year-boy who has no recent history of going abroad. He was listed as a home quarantine object on April 25, 2021. He developed fever on April 29, and the health unit arranged for medical examination. He was diagnosed today (Ct value 18). There were 2 family contacts in the case, and the home isolation date was extended to May 15.
The command center stated that there were 6 new cases of COVID-19 in China today, so far, there have been a total of 208,351 notifications related to novel coronavirus pneumonia in China (including 206,137 excluded cases). Among them, 1,132 cases were confirmed, 996 cases of overseas immigration, 88 local cases, 36 cases of Dunmu fleet, 2 cases of aircraft infection and 1 case of unknown and 9 cases are under investigation; In another case (case 530), empty numbers were removed. 中央流行疫情指揮中心今(1)日表示，新增1例本土COVID-19確診病例(案1133)，為案1102之同住家人。
指揮中心說明，案1133為本國籍未滿5歲男童，近期無出國史，今(2021)年4月25日匡列為居家隔離對象，4月29日出現發燒症狀，由衛生單位安排就醫採檢，於今日確診(Ct值18)。個案家庭接觸者2人，延長居家隔離日期至5月15日。
指揮中心統計，截至目前國內累計208,351例新型冠狀病毒肺炎相關通報(含206,137例排除)，其中1,132例確診，分別為996例境外移入，88例本土病例，36例敦睦艦隊、2例航空器感染、1例不明及9例調查中；
