中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「本5月08日、新たにCOVID-19の輸入症例3例が確定診断されたが、フィリピン（第1180号、1181号）、オランダ（第1182号）からの輸入症例だ」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「第1180号は、フィリピン籍の30代女性出稼ぎ労働者であり、出国前72時間以内の陰性証明を持ち、2021年4月23日に就労のため来台した。 彼女は来台後、集中検疫所で隔離され、5月5日になって、鼻水の症状が現れ、5月6日に隔離期間満了検査を受けたところ、本日確定診断された（Ct値37）。 患者は隔離期間中に他人との接触はなかったため、濃厚接触者リストは作成していない」としている（出国前72時間以内の陰性証明をもって4月23日に来台し、隔離期間満了時の検査を受け、入国後16日目にして確定診断されたということです）。
指揮センターは、「第1181号は、フィリピン籍の30代男性船員であり、出国前72時間以内の陰性証明を持ち、2021年4月21日に就労のため来台した。 彼は、来台後、防疫ホテルで隔離され、5月6日に隔離期間満了の後、企業手配の専用車で病院にゆき自費検査を受けたところ、本日確定診断された（Ct値32）。彼女は、来台後無症状であり、同じ車に乗っていた接触者1人は適切な防護をとっていたため自己健康観察とした」と指摘している（出国前72時間以内の陰性証明をもって4月21日に来台し、隔離期間満了後に自費検査を受け、入国後18日目にして確定診断されたということです）。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on May 8 that three new confirmed cases of COVID-19 imported from abroad were imported from the Philippines (Case 1180 and Case 1181) and the Netherlands (Case 1182).
The command center stated that Case 1180 is a Filipino female migrant worker in her 30s, who came to work in Taiwan on April 23, 2021 and had a negative test report within 3 days before the flight. After entering the country, she went to the centralized quarantine station for quarantine. On May 5, she developed symptoms of runny nose. The case got examined on May 6, when quarantine period expired, and she was diagnosed today (Ct value 37). During the quarantine period of the case, there was no contact with other people, so no contacts were listed.
The command center pointed out that the Case 1181 is a Filipino male crew member in his 30s who came to work in Taiwan on April 21, 2021 and had a negative test report within 3 days before boarding. After entering Taiwan, he went to the epidemic prevention hotel for quarantine. The quarantine period expired on May 6. On the same day, the company arranged a special car to the hospital for quarantine at his own expense. He was diagnosed today (Ct value 32). The case was asymptomatic during his stay in Taiwan. One identified person in the car, who was properly protected, was listed for self-health monitoring.
The command center stated that the case 1182 was an Indonesian male in his 20s. He flew from the Netherlands on April 21, 2021, and entered Taiwan on April 22 to work. 中央流行疫情指揮中心今(8)日公布國內新增3例境外移入COVID-19確定病例，自菲律賓(案1180及案1181)、荷蘭(案1182)入境。
指揮中心表示，案1180為菲律賓籍30多歲女性移工，今(2021)年4月23日來臺工作，持有搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告，入境後至集中檢疫所檢疫，5月5日出現流鼻水症狀，5月6日進行檢疫期滿採檢，於今日確診(Ct值37)。個案檢疫期間，未與其他人員接觸，故無匡列接觸者。
指揮中心指出，案1181為菲律賓籍30多歲男性船員，今(2021)年4月21日來臺工作，持有搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告，入境後至防疫旅館檢疫，5月6日檢疫期滿，同日由公司安排專車至醫院自費採檢，於今日確診(Ct值32)。個案在臺期間並無症狀，已掌握同車接觸者1人，因有適當防護，列自我健康監測。
