台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、9月04日、「新たにCOVID-19確診症例が1例増えたが、それぞれ、本土症例0例、アメリカからの輸入症例1例となっている；更に、確診症例中、新たに0例が死亡した」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例1例（第16123号）は、米国籍の30代の男性で、ワクチン接種済み。出国前72時間以内の陰性証明を携えて今年9月01日に、就労のため米国から来台。 入境後空港で検査を受けた後防疫ホテルで隔離を受けていたが本日確定診断された。 患者は、台湾では無症状であったが、同便の前後二列の旅客29人をリストアップし在宅隔離とされた」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「最近隔離を解除された確診症例については、5月11日～ 9月02日迄に発表された14,807例中、既に13,745人が隔離を解除されており、確診患者総数の92.8％が隔離解除されたことになる」と指摘する。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on Sept. 04 that there was 1 newly confirmed case of COVID-19 in Taiwan consisting of 0 local cases and 1 imported case from the States. There was no (0) new death among the confirmed cases.
The command center stated that there is a new case of immigration from abroad (16123) today, an American male in his 30s who has been vaccinated against COVID-19. He came to work in Taiwan from the United States on September 1, 2021 holding a negative test report within 3 days before the flight. He entered the airport for quarantine and went to the anti-epidemic hotel for quarantine. He was diagnosed today. The case was asymptomatic during his stay in Taiwan. 29 passengers in the two rows before and after the same flight have been listed for quarantine at home.
The command center pointed out that as for the recently released diagnosed cases from isolation, 13,745 people have been released from quarantine, among 14,807 confirmed cases announced from May 11 to Sept. 02. The number of people released from quarantine has reached 92.8% of the confirmed cases.

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(4)日公布國內新增1例COVID-19確定病例，為自美國入境；另確診個案中無新增死亡。
指揮中心表示，今日新增1例境外移入個案(16123)，為美國籍30多歲男性，已接種過COVID-19疫苗，今(2021)年9月1日自美國來臺工作，持搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告，入境於機場採檢後至防疫旅館檢疫，於今日確診，個案在臺期間並無症狀，已匡列同班機前後2排旅客29人，列居家隔離。
指揮中心指出，近期確診個案解隔離情形，5月11日至9月2日累計公布14,807位確診個案中，已有13,745人解除隔離，解隔離人數達確診人數92.8%。
指揮中心統計，截至目前國內累計2,779,364例新型冠狀病毒肺炎相關通報(含2,761,367例排除)，其中16,013
