台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「7月27日、新たにCOVID-19確診症例が17例増えたが、それぞれ、本土症例16例、輸入症例1例となっている；更に、確診症例中、新たに1例が死亡した」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに国内症例16例が増えた（うち7例は在宅隔中或いは隔離期間満了検査で陽性となった人である：（宮本注：つまり、2週間或いは3週間を超えて感染が確認された事例が斯くも多く存在しているという情報を台湾政府が認めている！）が、30代から60代までの男性11人、女性5人であり、2021年7月14日～7月26日の間に発症していた。 患者分布は、桃園市が6例と最多で、次いで台北市の5例、新北市の4例、新竹県1例となっている； そのうち、11例の感染源は既に判明、4例は関連不明、1例が疫学調査中となっているが、関連調査は今なお進められている」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「最近隔離を解除された確診症例については、5月11日～ 7月25日迄に発表された14,372例中、既に12,664人が隔離を解除されており、確診患者総数の88.1％が隔離解除されたことになる」と指摘する。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on July 27 that there were 17 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Taiwan consisting of 16 local cases and 1 imported case from abroad. There was 1 new death among the confirmed cases.
The command center said, the newly added 16 local cases (of which 7 cases were those who tested positive during home quarantine/isolation or after the expiry date of isolation) today are 11 males and 5 females, aged between in their 30s and 60s, with onset dates between July 14 and July 26, 2021. The distribution of cases is 6 cases in Taoyuan City, followed by 5 cases in Taipei City, 4 cases in New Taipei City, 1 case in Hsinchu County; Out of 16 local cases, 11 cases are known their sources of infection, 4 cases’ relation is unknown, 1 case is under investigation. Related epidemic investigations are ongoing.

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(27)日公布國內新增17例COVID-19確定病例，分別為16例本土及1例境外移入；另確診個案中新增1例死亡。
指揮中心表示，今日新增之16例本土病例(其中7例為居家隔離期間或期滿檢驗陽性者)，為11例男性、5例女性，年齡介於30多歲至60多歲，發病日介於今(2021)年7月14日至7月26日。個案分布以桃園市6例為多，其次為臺北市5例、新北市4例、新竹縣1例；其中11例為已知感染源、4例關聯不明、1例疫調中，將持續進行疫情調查，以釐清感染源。
指揮中心說明，今日新增1例死亡個案(案8354)，為70多歲男性，有慢性病史，無相關活動接觸史，5月28日出現呼吸困難等症狀，5月29日就醫採檢並收治住院，5月31日確診，7月24日死亡。
