台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「7月12日、新たにCOVID-19確診症例が24例増えたが、それぞれ、本土症例23例、輸入症例1例となっている；更に、確診症例中、新たに1例が死亡した」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに国内症例23例が増えた（うち9例は在宅隔中或いは隔離期間満了検査で陽性となった人である：（宮本注：つまり、2週間或いは3週間を超えて感染が確認された事例が斯くも多く存在しているという情報を台湾政府が認めている！））が、10歳未満から90代までの男性13人、女性10人であり、2021年6月20日～7月11日の間に発症していた。 患者分布は、新北市が10例と最多で、次いで台北市の9例、基隆市、桃園市、新竹市及び台中市各1例となっている； そのうち、17例の感染源は既に判明、4例は関連不明、2例が疫学調査中となっているが、関連調査は今なお進められている」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日新たに増えた死亡例1例は、慢性疾患及び他の確診症例との接触歴がある；患者は、5月11日に発熱症状が現れ、5月19日に病院で検査を受けたところ、5月20日に確定診断されると同時に治療のために入院、6月11日に隔離解除並びに退院をしていたが、7月10日、別の原因により死亡した」としている。
指揮センターは、「最近隔離を解除された確診症例については、5月11日～ 7月10日迄に発表された14,019例中、既に11,850人が隔離を解除されており、確診患者総数の84.5％が隔離解除されたことになる」と指摘する。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on July 12 that there were 24 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Taiwan consisting of 23 local cases and a imported case from abroad. There was 1 new death among the confirmed cases.
The command center said, the newly added 23 local cases (of which 9 cases were those who tested positive during home quarantine/isolation or after the expiry date of isolation) today are 13 males and 10 females, aged under 10 to in their 90s, with onset dates between June 20 and July 11, 2021. The distribution of cases is 10 cases in New Taipei City, followed by 10 cases in Taipei City, 1 case each in Keelung City, Taoyuan City, Hsinchu County and Taichung City; Out of 23 local cases, 17 cases are known their sources of infection, 4 cases’ relation is unknown, 2 cases are under investigation. Related epidemic investigations are ongoing.
The command center described, the 1 new death case reported today is a male in his 60s who had chronical disease(s) and contact history with other diagnosed case; The case developed fever and other symptoms on May 11, went to a doctor for examination on May 19, was diagnosed and hospitalized on May 20, and was released from isolation and discharged from hospital on June 11. He died from other causes on July 10.
The command center pointed out that as for the recently released diagnosed cases from isolation, 11,850 people have been released from quarantine, among 14,019 confirmed cases announced from May 11 to July 10. The number of people released from quarantine has reached 84.5% of the confirmed cases.
The command center stated that there is a new case of immigration from abroad (Case 15370) today. It is a Croatian girl under the age of 10, who entered the country from Switzerland on June 28, holding a negative report within 3 days

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(12)日公布國內新增24例COVID-19確定病例，分別為23例本土及1例境外移入；另確診個案中新增1例死亡。
指揮中心表示，今日新增之23例本土病例(其中9例為居家隔離期間或期滿檢驗陽性者)，為13例男性、10例女性，年齡介於未滿10歲至90多歲，發病日介於今(2021)年6月20日至7月11日。個案分布以新北市10例為最多，其次為臺北市9例，基隆市、桃園市、新竹市及臺中市各1例；其中17例為已知感染源、4例關聯不明、2例調查中，相關疫情調查持續進行中。
指揮中心說明，今日新增1例死亡個案(案2598)，為60多歲男性，具慢性病史及其他確診者接觸史；個案於5月11日出現發燒等症狀，5月19日就醫採檢，5月20日確診並住院治療，6月11日解除隔離並出院。7月10日因其他原因死亡。
指揮中心指出，近期確診個案解隔離情形，5月11日至7月10日累計公布14,019位確診個案中，已有11,850人解除隔離，解隔離人數達確診人數84.5%。
