台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「7月05日、新たにCOVID-19確診症例が31例増えたが、それぞれ、本土症例28例、輸入症例3例となっている；更に、確診症例中、新たに1例が死亡した」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに国内症例28例が増えた（うち13例は在宅隔中或いは隔離期間満了検査で陽性となった人である：（宮本注 つまり、2週間或いは3週間を超えて感染が確認された事例が斯くも多く存在しているという情報を台湾政府が公開））が、5歳未満から90代までの男性9人、女性19人であり、2021年6月19日～7月04日の間に発症していた。 患者分布は、台北市が15例と最多で、次いで新北市の5例、桃園市3例、苗栗県2例、屏東県、基隆市及び新竹県各1例となっている； そのうち、16例の感染源は既に判明、1例が関連不明、11例が疫学調査中となっているが、関連調査は今なお進められている」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日新たに増えた死亡例1例は、70代女性だが、慢性疾患及び他の確診患者への暴露歴があった； 6月11日に発熱や呼吸困難が現れ、同日病院で検査と入院をしていたが、6月12日確定診断され7月3日に死亡した」としている。
指揮センターは、「最近隔離を解除された確診症例については、5月11日～ 7月3日迄に発表された13,792例中、既に11,008人が隔離を解除されており、確診患者総数の79.8％が隔離解除されたことになる」と指摘する。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on July 05 that there were 31 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Taiwan consisting of 28 local cases and three (3) imported cases from abroad. There was 1 new death among the confirmed cases.
The command center said, the newly added 28 local cases (of which 13 cases were those who tested positive during home quarantine/isolation or after the expiry date of isolation) today are 9 males and 19 females, aged under 5 to in their 90s, with onset dates between June 19 and July 04, 2021. The distribution of cases is 15 cases in Taipei City, followed by 5 cases in New Taipei City, 3 cases each in Taoyuan City, 2 cases in Miaoli County, 1 case each in Pingtung County, Keelung City and Hsinchu County; Out of 28 cases, 16 cases are known their sources of infection, 1 case’s relation is unknown, 11 cases are under investigation. Related epidemic investigations are ongoing.
The command center described, the 1 new death (Case 12752) reported today is a female in her 70s having a history of chronic disease and contact history with other confirmed cases. The case developed fever and dyspnea on June 11. He sought medical examination and was hospitalized on the same day. He was diagnosed on June 12 and died on July 3.
The command center pointed out that as for the recently released diagnosed cases from isolation, 11,008 people have been released from quarantine, among 13,792 confirmed cases announced from May 11 to July 3. The number of people released from quarantine has reached 79.8% of the confirmed cases.

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(5)日公布國內新增31例COVID-19確定病例，分別為28例本土及3例境外移入；另確診個案中新增1例死亡。
指揮中心表示，今日新增之28例本土病例(其中13例為居家隔離期間或期滿檢驗陽性者)，為9例男性、19例女性，年齡介於未滿5歲至90多歲，發病日介於今(2021)年6月19日至7月4日。個案分布以臺北市15例最多，其次為新北市5例、桃園市3例、苗栗縣2例，屏東縣、基隆市及新竹縣各1例；其中16例為已知感染源、1例關聯不明、11例調查中，相關疫情調查持續進行中。
指揮中心說明，今日新增1例死亡個案(案12752)，為70多歲女性，具慢性病史及其他確診者接觸史；個案於6月11日出現發燒、呼吸困難症狀，同日就醫採檢並住院治療，6月12日確診，7月3日死亡。
指揮中心指出，近期確診個案解隔離情形，5月11日至7月3日累計公布13,792位確診個案中，已有11,008人解除隔離，解隔離人數達確診人數79.8%。
