台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「7月22日、新たにCOVID-19確診症例が33例増えたが、それぞれ、本土症例30例、輸入症例3例となっている；更に、確診症例中、新たに4例が死亡した」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに国内症例30例が増えた（うち20例は在宅隔中或いは隔離期間満了検査で陽性となった人である：（宮本注：つまり、2週間或いは3週間を超えて感染が確認された事例が斯くも多く存在しているという情報を台湾政府が認めている！）が、5歳未満から70代までの男性15人、女性15人であり、2021年7月17日～7月21日の間に発症していた。 患者分布は、台北市と新北市が11例と最多で、次いで桃園市の7例、新竹市の1例となっている； そのうち、24例の感染源は既に判明、5例は関連不明、1例が疫学調査中となっているが、関連調査は今なお進められている」と発表した。

指揮センターは、「最近隔離を解除された確診症例については、5月11日～ 7月19日迄に発表された14,255例中、既に12,456人が隔離を解除されており、確診患者総数の87.4％が隔離解除されたことになる」と指摘する。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on July 22 that there were 33 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Taiwan consisting of 30 local cases and 3 imported cases from abroad. There were 4 new deaths among the confirmed cases.
The command center said, the newly added 30 local cases (of which 20 cases were those who tested positive during home quarantine/isolation or after the expiry date of isolation) today are 15 males and 15 females, aged between under 5 years old and in their 70s, with onset dates between July 17 and July 21, 2021. The distribution of cases is 11 cases in New Taipei City and Taipei City, followed by 7 cases in Taoyuan City, 1 cases in Hsinchu City; Out of 30 local cases, 24 cases are known their sources of infection, 5 cases’ relation is unknown, 1 case is under investigation. Related epidemic investigations are ongoing.
The command center explained that there were 4 new deaths today, 2 women and 2 men, aged between in their 60s and 70s. The onset date is between June 01 and June 27, the diagnosis date is between June 04 and June 29, and the date of death is between July 19 and July 21, as detailed in Annex 1 of the press release.
The command center pointed out that as for the recently released diagnosed cases from isolation, 12,456 people have been released from quarantine, among 14,255 confirmed cases announced from May 11 to July 20. The number of people released from quarantine has reached 87.4% of the confirmed cases.

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(22)日公布國內新增33例COVID-19確定病例，分別為30例本土及3例境外移入；另確診個案中新增4例死亡。
指揮中心表示，今日新增之30例本土病例(其中20例為居家隔離期間或期滿檢驗陽性者)，為15例男性、15例女性，年齡介於未滿5歲至70多歲，發病日介於今(2021)年7月17日至7月21日。個案分布以臺北市及新北市各11例為最多，其次為桃園市7例、新竹市1例；其中24例為已知感染源、5例關聯不明、1例調查中，相關疫情調查持續進行中。
