中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「本4月29日、新たにCOVID-19の輸入症例2例が確定診断されたが、それぞれフィリピン（第1118号）及びメキシコからの輸入症例（第1119号）だ」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「第1118号患者は、フィリピン籍の20代女性出稼ぎ労働者で、彼女は、出国前72時間以内の陰性証明を持ち、2021年4月07日に就労のため来台した。 来台後は、集中検疫所に隔離され、4月20日、隔離期間満了後の検査では陰性となった； 隔離期間満了後は、企業の手配により別の場所での自主健康管理に入っていたが、業務の必要性から、4月27日に専用車で病院に行き自費検査を行ったところ、本日確定診断された（Ct値36）。 患者には台湾入りしてから症状はなく、既に同じ車の接触者5人が把握されているが、全員適切な防護を採っており、自主健康管理とした」と指摘している（宮本注： 出国前72時間以内の陰性証明をもって4月07日に来台した人が入国後23日目にして自費検査の結果確定診断されたということです）。

Two new cases of COVID-19 imported from abroad, entering the Philippines and Mexico

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (29) that two new confirmed cases of COVID-19 imported from abroad have entered the country from the Philippines (Case 1118) and Mexico (Case 1119).
The command center pointed out that the Case 1118 is a Filipino female migrant worker in her 20s who came to work in Taiwan on April 7, 2021, and had a negative test report within 3 days before the flight. After entering the country, she went to the centralized quarantine station for isolation, and was examined before the expiration of the quarantine period on April 20 of which result was negative; After the expiration of the quarantine period, the company arranged for her independent health management in another place. Due to work needs, she took a special car to the hospital on April 27 for examination at her own expense. She was diagnosed today (Ct value 36). The case was asymptomatic during his stay in Taiwan, and 5 people who had contact with the car were known to be properly protected and classified as independent health management.
The command center said, the Case 1119 is a Taiwanese male in his 40s. He went to Mexico on business in January this year. 中央流行疫情指揮中心今(29)日公布國內新增2例境外移入COVID-19確定病例，自菲律賓(案1118)及墨西哥(案1119)入境。
指揮中心指出，案1118為菲律賓籍20多歲女性移工，今(2021)年4月7日來臺工作，持有搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告，入境後至集中檢疫所進行檢疫，4月20日接受檢疫期滿前採檢，結果為陰性；檢疫期滿後，由公司安排至其他住所單獨自主健康管理，因工作需要，4月27日搭乘專車至醫院自費採檢，於今日確診(Ct值36)。個案在臺期間無症狀，已掌握同車接觸者5人，均有適當防護，列自主健康管理。
