中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「本4月15日、新たにCOVID-19の輸入症例1例（第1069号）が確定診断されたが、台湾籍の5歳女児で、長期間インドネシアに居住していた。

指揮センターは、「第1069号の濃厚接触者は1人で、先に見つかって1036号患者の接触者となるため、リストの重複を避けることにした。4月13日のPCR検査結果は陰性であり、1069号が確診される前の世話人は、4月27日まで期間延長をして在宅隔離とした」と指摘した。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on April 15 that there was one new confirmed case of COVID-19 imported from abroad (Case 1069). This is a girl under 5 years old of nationality who lives in Indonesia for a long time. She had cough symptoms on March 21, 2021, and her symptoms improved after seeking medical treatment in Indonesia; She came to Taiwan with Case 1036 (Indonesian female in her 30s) on March 28, and she had a negative test report within 3 days before the flight. When she entered the country, she was evacuated to the doctor in case 1036. Because case 1069 had cough symptoms on March 21, she was also taken for examination. Case 1036 tested positive for COVID-19 and was diagnosed on April 1. Case 1069 tested negative and returned home to be taken care of by his family and listed as a home quarantine object.
The command center said, Considering case 1069 was taken care of by case 1036 before home quarantine, and the contact time was long, to be prudent, the health unit arranged to the hospital for inspection at the end of the quarantine period on April 13. COVID-19 was detected positive and confirmed today (Ct value of 29, Ct value of the second sampling ranged from 27 to 34, serum antibody IgM and IgG were both positive).
The command center pointed out that There are 1 close contacts in case 1069. They have been previously listed as contacts in case 1036, so the list will not be repeated. The result of the examination on April 13 was negative, because she was a caregiver before the diagnosis of case 1069, and the home isolation period will be extended to April 27.

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(15)日公布國內新增1例境外移入COVID-19確定病例(案1069)，為本國籍未滿5歲女童，長期居住印尼，今(2021)年3月21日即有咳嗽症狀，於印尼當地就醫服藥後症狀改善；3月28日與案1036(印尼籍30多歲女性)同行來臺，持有搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告，入境時隨同案1036後送就醫，因案1069曾於3月21日有咳嗽症狀，亦進行採檢，其中案1036檢驗COVID-19陽性，於4月1日確診，案1069則檢驗陰性，返家由家人照顧，並列為居家隔離對象。
指揮中心表示，考量案1069居家隔離前皆由案1036照顧，接觸時間長，為求慎重，4月13日由衛生單位安排至醫院進行隔離期滿採檢，檢出COVID-19陽性，於今日確診(Ct值29，二採Ct值介於27至34，血清抗體IgM及IgG皆為陽性)。
指揮中心指出，案1069之密切接觸者共1人，先前已匡列為案1036接觸者，故不重複匡列，4月13日採檢結果為陰性，因其為案1069確診前照顧者，將延長居家隔離期間至4月27日。
