台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日11月16日、「新たにCOVID-19確診症例が2例増えたが、本土症例0例、輸入症例2例となっている；更に、確診症例中、死亡者0例が出た」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「第16608号は、アイルランド籍の20代男性で、搭乗前72時間以内の陰性証明書を携え、11月14日にアイルランドから入境、空港での検査後防疫ホテルで隔離をしていたが本日確診；患者は台湾では無症状であり、関連接触者をリストアップ中」としている。
指揮センターは、「第16609号は、台湾籍の30代男性だが、搭乗前72時間以内の陰性証明書を携え、11月03日にカンボジアから入境、空港での検査後防疫ホテルで隔離をしていたが、11月05日、頭痛と耳鳴りの症状を訴えて衛生単位が病院を手配し検査してみたところ陰性であった。その後の隔離期間中に症状は現れず、11月15日に隔離期間満了前検査を受けたところ本日確診された；関連接触者はみな妥当な防護をしており、接触者リストは作成していない」と指摘している。
指揮センターは、「これまでに新型コロナウィルス肺炎に関する通報は、国内累計で4,233,503例（排除された4,215,865例を含む）となった。 そのうち確診症例数は16,498例であり、夫々輸入症例1,854例、本土症例 14,590例、敦睦艦隊36例、航空機感染3例及び不明1例、調査中14例となっている； この他、新たに0例が患者リストから削除され累計111例が欠番となっている。2020年からCOVID-19により累計

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (November 16) that there were 2 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 0 local and 2 imported cases; further, there was 0 death.
The command center explained that case 16608 is an Irish male in his 20s. He came from Ireland holding a negative test report within 3 days before taking the flight on November 14, 2021. He was tested at the airport and went to the epidemic prevention hotel for quarantine. The diagnosis was confirmed today; Though the case was asymptomatic while in Taiwan, the relevant contacts are to be listed.
The command center pointed out that case 16609 was a Taiwanese male in his 30s, who came from Cambodia on November 3 holding a negative test report within 3 days before the flight. On November 5, he felt headache and tinnitus. The health unit arranged to see a doctor and the result was negative. During the follow-up quarantine period, he was asymptomatic. He was tested before the expiration of the quarantine period on November 15 and was diagnosed today; Related contacts are properly protected, so there is no list. After quarantine at the airport, go to the epidemic prevention hotel for quarantine.

指揮中心說明，案16608為20多歲愛爾蘭籍男性，今(2021)年11月14日持搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告自愛爾蘭入境，於機場採檢後至防疫旅館進行檢疫，於今日確診；個案在臺期間無症狀，相關接觸者匡列中。
指揮中心指出，案16609為30多歲本國籍男性，11月3日持搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告自柬埔寨入境，於機場採檢後至防疫旅館檢疫，11月5日自覺頭痛及耳鳴由衛生單位安排就醫採檢為陰性，後續檢疫期間均無症狀，11月15日進行檢疫期滿前採檢，於今日確診；相關接觸者均有適當防護，故無匡列。
