台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日12月16日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は15,416例（うち本土症例15,316例、輸入症例100例）；更に、確診症例中、24例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例15,316例は、5歳未満から90代以上の男性6,830例、女性8,473例、性別調査中13例となる。患者分布は、新台北市（2,889例）、台中市（1,978例）、桃園市（1,875例）、高雄市（1,736例）、台北市（1,487例）、台南市（1,191例）、彰化県（725例）、新竹県（549例）、新竹市（449例）、屏東県（423例）、苗栗県（415例）、雲林県（316例）、嘉義県（224例）、南投県（223例）、基隆市（182例）、宜蘭県（174例）、花蓮県（148例）、嘉義市（126例）、台東県（91例）、金門県（66例）、澎湖県（47例）、連江県（2例）となる」としている。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Dec. 16) that there were 15,416 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 15,316 local and 100 imported cases; further, there were 24 deaths.
