台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日01月02日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は16,602例（うち本土症例16,524例、輸入症例78例）；更に、確診症例中、26例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例16,524例は、5歳未満から90代以上の男性7,443例、女性9,075例、性別調査中6例となる。患者分布は、新台北市（3,377例）、台中市（2,078例）、桃園市（1,821例）、高雄市（1,751例）、台北市（1,655例）、台南市（1,337例）、彰化県（825例）、新竹県（629例）、新竹市（472例）、苗栗県（433例）、屏東県（350例）、雲林県（297例）、基隆市（286例）、嘉義県（260例）、南投県（240例）、宜蘭県（213例）、嘉義市（161例）、花蓮県（120例）、台東県（102例）、金門県（72例）、澎湖県（38例）、連江県（7例）となる」としている。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Jan. 02) that there were 16,602 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 16,524 local and 78 imported cases; further, there were 26 deaths (including 1 imported case.
The command center stated that the new 16524 local cases today are 7443 males and 9075 females, (6 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and over 90s; The distribution of cases is as follows: New Taipei City (3377 cases), Taichung City (2078 cases), Taoyuan City (1821 cases), Kaohsiung City (1751 cases), Taipei City (1655 cases), Tainan City (1337 cases), Changhua County (825 cases), Hsinchu County (629 cases), Hsinchu City (472 cases), Miaoli County (433 cases), Pingtung County (350 cases), Yunlin County (297 cases), Keelung City (286 cases), Chiayi County (260 cases), Nantou County (240 cases), Yilan County (213 cases), Chiayi City (161 cases), Hualien County (120 cases), Taitung County (102 cases), Jinmen County (72 cases), Penghu County (38 cases), Lianjiang County (7 cases).
