台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日10月22日、「新たにCOVID-19確診症例が8例増えたが、本土症例2例、輸入症例6例となっている；更に、確診症例中、新たな死亡者は0例」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例2例中、第16461号患者は、インドネシア籍の30代女性だが、長期にわたり台湾で働いていたが、本年10月20日に業務上の必要性から検査を受けたところ本日確診された（Ct値33、入院後の核酸検査では陰性、血清抗体陽性となった）； 既に接触者7人がリストアップされ、在宅隔離とされている。第16462号患者は、台湾籍の50代女性だが、10月20日に患者看護の必要性から検査を受け、当日、全身の倦怠感が現れ、本日確診された（Ct値33.2、入院後の核酸検査では陰性、血清抗体陽性となった）； 既に接触者10人をリストアップ、全員在宅隔離に。 衛生単位では、流行の調査及び予防治療活動を継続、感染源を調査している」とした。
指揮センターは、「本日増えた輸入症例6例は、10代から60代の男性2例、女性4例であり、「出国前72時間以内の陰性証明書を携えて」10月07日から10月20日の間に、ミャンマー（第16460号）、インドネシア（第16463号）、タイ（第16464号）、マレーシア（2例： 第16465号、第16466号）、及び南ア（第16467号）から入境した。詳細は『☞ 20211022F 台湾新規増加輸入症例6名のリスト』を参照されたい」としている。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (October 22) that there were 8 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 2 local and 6 imported cases; further, there was 0 death.
The command center stated that of the two new local cases today, the Case 16461 is an Indonesian woman in her 30s. She has been working in Taiwan for a long time. She was tested on October 20th (2021) due to work needs. She was diagnosed today (Ct value 33, negative nucleic acid test after hospitalization, serum antibody became positive);Seven contacts have been listed, all of whom are listed in home quarantine.
Case 16462 is a Taiwanese woman in her 50s. She was tested on October 20 because she was accompanied by an illness. She also had symptoms of general fatigue on the same day. She was diagnosed today (Ct value of 33.2. After hospitalization, the nucleic acid test was negative and the serum antibody was positive. ); 10 contacts have been listed, all of whom are listed in home quarantine. According to the command center, today there are 6 new cases of immigration from abroad, 2 males and 4 females, aged in their 10s to 60s. 中央流行疫情指揮中心今(22)日公布國內新增8例COVID-19確定病例，分別為2例本土個案及6例境外移入；另確診個案中無新增死亡。
指揮中心表示，今日新增2例本土個案中，案16461為印尼籍30多歲女性，長期在臺工作，今(2021)年10月20日因工作需求進行採檢，於今日確診(Ct值33，住院後採檢之核酸檢驗陰性、血清抗體陽性)；已匡列接觸者7人，均列居家隔離。案16462為本國籍50多歲女性，10月20日因有陪病需求進行採檢，同日亦有全身倦怠症狀，於今日確診(Ct值33.2，住院後採檢之核酸檢驗陰性、血清抗體陽性)；已匡列接觸者10人，均列居家隔離。衛生單位將持續進行疫情調查及防治工作，以釐清感染源。
指揮中心說明，今日新增6例境外移入個案，為2例男性、4例女性，年齡介於10多歲至60多歲，分別自緬甸(案16460)、印尼(案16463)、泰國(案16464)、馬來西亞(2例，案16465、案16466)及南非(案16467)入境，入境日介於10月7日至10月20日，皆持有搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告；詳如新聞稿附件。
