台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日7月28日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は23,971例（うち本土症例23,822例、輸入症例149例）；更に、確診症例中、62例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例23822例は、5歳未満から90歳以上の男性11056例、女性12757例、性別調査中9例だ。患者分布は、新台北市（4168例）、台中市（2940例）、台北市（2460例）、桃園市（2385例）、高雄市（2340例）、台南市（1898例）、彰化県（1137例）、苗栗県（712例）、屏東県（699例）、新竹県（689例）、雲林県（592例）、新竹市（580例）、宜蘭県（536例）、花蓮県（456例）、基隆市（438例）、南投県（431例）、嘉義県（429例）、嘉義市（281例）、台東県（276例）、金門県（200例）、澎湖県（155例）、連江県（20例）となる」としている。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (July 28) that there were 23,822 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 23,971 local and 149 imported cases; further, there were 62 deaths.
The command center stated that the new 23822 local cases today are 11056 males and 12757 females, (9 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and over 90s; The distribution of cases is New Taipei City (4168 cases), Taichung City (2940 cases), Taipei City (2460 cases), Taoyuan City (2385 cases), Kaohsiung City (2340 cases), Tainan City (1898 cases), Changhua County (1137 cases), Miaoli County (712 cases), Pingtung County (699 cases), Hsinchu County (689 cases), Yunlin County (592 cases), Hsinchu City (580 cases), Yilan County (536 cases), Hualien County (456 cases), Keelung City (438 cases), Nantou County (431 cases), Chiayi County (429 cases), Chiayi City (281 cases), Taitung County (276 cases), Jinmen County (200 cases), Penghu County (155 cases), Lianjiang County (20 cases).
