台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日01月05日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は31,514例（うち本土症例31,078例、輸入症例436例）；更に、確診症例中、45例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例31,078例は、5歳未満から90代以上の男性13,976例、女性17,088例、性別調査中14例となる。患者分布は、新台北市（6,196例）、台中市（4,143例）、台北市（3,576例）、高雄市（3,371例）、桃園市（3,366例）、台南市（2,594例）、彰化県（1,355例）、新竹県（1,023例）、新竹市（864例）、苗栗県（669例）、屏東県（654例）、雲林県（573例）、嘉義県（465例）、基隆市（453例）、南投県（437例）、宜蘭県（427例）、嘉義市（278例）、花蓮県（244例）、台東県（174例）、金門県（139例）、澎湖県（70例）、連江県（7例）となる」としている。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Jan. 05) that there were 31,514 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 31,078 local and 436 imported cases; further, there were 45 deaths.
The command center stated that the new 31078 local cases today are 13976 males and 17088 females, (14 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and over 90s; The distribution of cases is as follows: New Taipei City (6196 cases), Taichung City (4143 cases), Taipei City (3576 cases), Kaohsiung City (3371 cases), Taoyuan City (3366 cases), Tainan City (2594 cases), Changhua County (1355 cases), Hsinchu County (1023 cases), Hsinchu City (864 cases), Miaoli County (669 cases), Pingtung County (654 cases), Yunlin County (573 cases), Chiayi County (465 cases), Keelung City (453 cases), Nantou County (437 cases), Yilan County (427 cases), Chiayi City (278 cases), Hualien County (244 cases), Taitung County (174 cases), Jinmen County (139 cases), Penghu County (70 cases), Lianjiang County (7 cases).
