台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日10月21日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は37,265例（うち本土症例37,196例、輸入症例69例）；更に、確診症例中、78例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例37,196例は、5歳未満から90代の男性16,835例、女性20,339例、性別調査中22例だ。患者分布は、新台北市（6,861例）、台中市（5,006例）、高雄市（4,370例）、桃園市（3,668例）、台北市（3,489例）、台南市（3,108例）、彰化県（2,007例）、屏東県（1,252例）、雲林県（895例）、新竹県（886例）、新竹市（840例）、苗栗県（804例）、南投県（732例）、嘉義県（678例）、宜蘭県（613例）、花蓮県（495例）、基隆市（495例）、嘉義市（441例）、台東県（301例）、金門県（150例）、澎湖県（91例）、連江県（14例）となる」としている。
指揮センターは、「本日新たに増えた死亡例は、本土症例78例で、30代から90代以上の男性52人、女性40人となる。全員が重症患者であり、74例に慢性疾患が有り、52例は三回のワクチン未完了（67％）

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Oct. 21) that there were 37,265 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 37,196 local and 69 imported cases; further, there were 78 deaths.
The command center stated that the new 37196 local cases today are 16835 males and 20339 females, (22 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and over 90s; The distribution of cases is New Taipei City (6861 cases), Taichung City (5006 cases), Kaohsiung City (4370 cases), Taoyuan City (3668 cases), Taipei City (3489 cases), Tainan City (3108 cases), Changhua County (2007 cases), Pingtung County (1252 cases), Yunlin County (895 cases), Hsinchu County (886 cases), Hsinchu City (840 cases), Miaoli County (804 cases), Nantou County (732 cases), Chiayi County (678 cases), Yilan County (613 cases), Hualien County (495 cases), Keelung City (495 cases), Chiayi City (441 cases), Taitung County (301 cases), Jinmen County (150 cases), Penghu County (91 cases), Lianjiang County (14 cases).
