台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日2月21日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は49例（うち本土症例4例、輸入症例45例：24例は着陸時検査で陽性とされたもの）；更に、確診症例中では、0例の死亡者が出た」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例4例は、10歳未満から50代の男性1例、女性3例だ。詳細は『 ☞ 20220221G 台湾新規増加本土症例4名のリスト 』を参照されたい」としている。
指揮センターは、「本日増えた輸入症例45例は、20代から80代の男性25例、女性20例である。彼らは 1月15日から2月20日の間に、米国（9例）、香港（3例）、オランダおよびオーストラリア（各2例）、日本、デンマーク、カナダ、シンガポール、マレーシア、英国、バングラデシュおよびドイツ（各1例）から入境したが、残り21例の出国地は調査中だ。詳細は『 ☞ 20220221F 台湾新規増加輸入症例45名のリスト 』を参照されたい」としている。
指揮センターは、「本年1月31日に発表された第18874号及び2月19日に発表された第20028号の輸入症例は、ゲノム解析および疫学調査ののち本土症例とされた」と指摘している。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (February 21) that there were 49 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 4 local and 45 imported cases (24 were positive for flight landing tests); further, there was 0 death.
The command center stated that the new local cases today are 1 male and 3 females, aged between under 10 years-old and 50s; as for the details, please refer to the attachment to the press release.
The command center explained that today there are 45 new cases of immigration from abroad, consisting of 25 males and 20 females and 1 in investigation of gender, ranging from 20s to 80s. They came from the United States (9 cases), Hong Kong (3 cases), Netherlands and Australia (2 cases each), Japan, Denmark, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, United Kingdom, Bangladesh and Germany (1 case each), the other 21 cases are under investigation from where they entered; entering Taiwan between Jan. 15, and Feb. 20, 2022; as for the details, please see attached.
The command center pointed out that the case 18874 announced on January 31 this year and the imported case 20028 announced on February 19 were changed to local cases after genetic sequencing and epidemic investigation.
The command center’s data shows there have been a total of 6,166,725 notifications related to novel coronavirus pneumonia in China (including 6,146,253 excluded cases). Among them, 20,056 cases were confirmed, 4,615 cases

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(21)日公布國內新增49例COVID-19確定病例，分別為4例本土個案及45例境外移入(24例為航班落地採檢陽性)；另確診個案無新增死亡。
指揮中心表示，今日新增本土個案為1例男性、3例女性，年齡介於未滿10歲至50多歲；詳如新聞稿附件。
指揮中心說明，今日新增境外移入個案為25例男性、20例女性，年齡介於20多歲至80多歲，分別自美國(9例)、香港(3例)、荷蘭及澳大利亞(各2例)、日本、丹麥、加拿大、新加坡、馬來西亞、英國、孟加拉及德國(各1例)移入；另21例調查中。入境日介於今(2022)年1月15日至2月20日；詳如新聞稿附件。
指揮中心指出，今年1月31日公布之案18874及2月19日公布之案20028境外移入病例，經基因定序及疫調後改判為本土病例。
