台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日10月01日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は43,085例（うち本土症例43,040例、輸入症例45例）；更に、確診症例中、48例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例43,040例は、5歳未満から90代の男性19,924例、女性23,095例、性別調査中21例だ。患者分布は、新台北市（8,756例）、台中市（5,745例）、台北市（4,846例）、桃園市（4,705例）、高雄市（3,863例）、台南市（2,811例）、彰化県（2,268例）、新竹県（1,279例）、屏東県（1,060例）、苗栗県（1,052例）、新竹市（987例）、宜蘭県（963例）、雲林県（939例）、基隆市（742例）、南投県（719例）、嘉義県（654例）、花蓮県（618例）、嘉義市（460例）、台東県（310例）、金門県（132例）、澎湖県（114例）、連江県（17例）となる」としている。
指揮センターは、「本日新たに増えた死亡例48例は本土症例で、40代から90代の男性32人、女性16人となる。全員が重症患者であり、44例が慢性疾患を有していた。30例は三回のワクチン未完了（63％）

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Oct. 01) that there were 43,085 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 43,040 local and 45 imported cases; further, there were 48 deaths.
The command center stated that the new 43040 local cases today are 19924 males and 23095 females, (21 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and over 90s; The distribution of cases is New Taipei City (8756 cases), Taichung City (5745 cases), Taipei City (4846 cases), Taoyuan City (4705 cases), Kaohsiung City (3863 cases), Tainan City (2811 cases), Changhua County (2268 cases), Hsinchu County (1279 cases), Pingtung County (1060 cases), Miaoli County (1052 cases), Hsinchu City (987 cases), Yilan County (963 cases), Yunlin County (939 cases), Keelung City (742 cases), Nantou County (719 cases), Chiayi County (654 cases), Hualien County (618 cases), Chiayi City (460 cases), Taitung County (310 cases), Jinmen County (132 cases), Penghu County (114 cases), Lianjiang County (17 cases).
