台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日5月29日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は76,605例（うち本土症例76,539例、輸入症例66例：37例は着陸時検査で陽性とされたもの）；更に、確診症例中では、145例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例76539例は、5歳未満から90歳以上の男性36087例、女性40431例、性別調査中21例だ。患者分布は、新台北市（14848例）、高雄市（9563例）、桃園市（9379例）、台中市（8959例）、台北市（7402例）、台南市（5913例）、彰化県（3882例）、屏東県（2554例）、新竹県（1976例）、新竹市（1699例）、苗栗県（1667例）、宜蘭県（1558例）、基隆市（1216例）、花蓮県（1112例）、雲林県（1059例）、南投県（999例）、嘉義県（955例）、台東県（858例）、嘉義市（527例）、澎湖県（204例）、金門県（279例）、および連江県（30例）、関連の調査が進行中である」としている。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (May 29) that there were 76,605 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 76,539 local and 66 imported cases (37 were positive for flight landing tests); further, there were 145 deaths.
The command center stated that the new 76539 local cases today are 36087 males and 40431 females, (21 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and over 90s. The distribution of cases is New Taipei City (14848 cases), Kaohsiung City (9563 cases), Taoyuan City (9379 cases), Taichung City (8959 cases), Taipei City (7402 cases), Tainan City (5913 cases), Changhua County (3882 cases), Pingtung County (2554 cases), Hsinchu County (1976 cases), Hsinchu City (1699 cases), Miaoli County (1667 cases), Yilan County (1558 cases), Keelung City (1216 cases), Hualien County (1112 cases), Yunlin County (1059 cases), Nantou County (999 cases), Chiayi County (955 cases), Taitung County (858 cases), Chiayi City (527 cases), Penghu County (204 cases), Jinmen County (179 cases), Lianjiang County (30 cases). The related epidemic investigation is ongoing.
The command center pointed out that there were 145 new local deaths today. They were 81 males and 64 females, aged between 30s to over 90s, all of them were severe infections and 136 had chronical diseases where 70 had not been vaccinated. The date of diagnosis was between April 28 and May 26, and the date of death was between May 10 and May 26, as for details, please see attached.
