台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日6月02日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は76,986例（うち本土症例76,967例、輸入症例19例：0例は着陸時検査で陽性とされたもの）；更に、確診症例中では、144例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例76967例は、5歳未満から90歳以上の男性36441例、女性40500例、性別調査中26例だ。患者分布は、新台北市（12910例）、台中市（10707例）、高雄市（10530例）、桃園市（7854例）、台北市（6237例）、台南市（6144例）、彰化県（4541例）、屏東県（2733例）、新竹県（2282例）、苗栗県（1633例）、新竹市（1585例）、宜蘭県（1426例）、雲林県（1410例）、南投県（1320例）、花蓮県（1218例）、基隆市（1190例）、嘉義県（1168例）、台東県（897例）、嘉義市（756例）、澎湖県（216例）、金門県（145例）、および連江県（25例）；関連の調査が進行中である」としている。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (June 02) that there were 76,986 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 76,967 local and 19 imported cases (0 were positive for flight landing tests); further, there were 144 deaths.
The command center stated that the new 76967 local cases today are 36441 males and 40500 females, (26 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and over 90s. The distribution of cases is New Taipei City (12910 cases), Taichung City (10707 cases), Kaohsiung City (10530 cases), Taoyuan City (7854 cases), Taipei City (6237 cases), Tainan City (6144 cases), Changhua County (4541 cases), Pingtung County (2773 cases), Hsinchu County (2282 cases), Miaoli County (1633 cases), Hsinchu City (1585 cases), Yilan County (1426 cases), Yunlin County (1410 cases), Nantou County (1320 cases), Hualien County (1218 cases), Keelung City (1190 cases), Chiayi County (1168 cases), Taitung County (897 cases), Chiayi City (756 cases), Penghu County (216 cases), Jinmen County (145 cases), Lianjiang County (25 cases). The related epidemic investigation is ongoing.
The command center pointed out that there were 144 new local deaths today. They were 93 males and 51 females, aged between under 10 years old to over 90s, all of them were severe infections and 135 had chronical diseases where 50 had not been vaccinated. The date of diagnosis was between May 02 and May 30, and the date of death was between May 16 and May 30, as for details, please see attached.
