中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「本5月06日、 新たにCOVID-19の本土確診症例1例（第1174号）が増えたが、台湾籍の30代男性だが、空港防疫ホテルの従業員だ。 最近の渡航歴はなく、業務上の必要性から、ハウスキーピング部をよく往来しており、1120号及び1129号の濃厚接触者とされていた」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「第1174号患者は、4月29日、空港防疫ホテルの総員退出プランに協力して集中検疫所に移ったが、当日のPCR検査、血清抗体検査は全て陰性であった。 5月3日になり、のどの痛みや発熱、筋肉痛などの症状が相次ぎ現れ、5月4日に症状を彼が報告したため、検疫所が病院での検査を手配、本日確定診断された（Ct値17）。 彼は発症の2日前から入院隔離までの期間は集中検疫所にいたため、濃厚接触者リストは作成していない」とした。
指揮センターは、「当該ホテルではこれまでにスタッフ5名が確定診断されている（第1120号、1127～1129号、1174号）； 更に4月19日～28日の間、下請業者や実習生、元ホテル従業員を含め、計80人に対するPCR検査と血清抗体検査が実施され、うち73名は陰性となり、1名（第1145号）が陽性となっている、6人は検査中である。61人の血清抗体は陰性、19人については検査中である。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on May 6th that there was one new confirmed case of COVID-19 in China (Case 1174). He was a male in his 30s and was an employee of the Airport Epidemic Prevention Hotel Engineering Department. He has no recent history of going abroad. Due to business needs, he often communicates with the Housing Department and has close contact with Case 1120 and Case 1129.
The command center stated that Case 1174 went to the centralized quarantine station with the airport epidemic prevention hotel emptying plan on April 29. The nucleic acid tests and serum antibodies taken on that day were all negative. Since May 3, he has experienced sore throat, fever, and muscle aches. After reporting symptoms on May 4, he was arranged by the quarantine station to the hospital for examination and was diagnosed today (Ct value 17). Since the case was in the centralized quarantine center two days before the onset of the illness and before the hospitalization and isolation, and did not come into contact with others, no contacts were listed.
The command center pointed out that a total of 5 employees of the hotel have been diagnosed up to now (case 1120, case 1127 to case 1129, case 1174); In addition, from April 19 to April 28, a total of 80 people, including contractors, in-turns, and former employees who worked at the hotel, have been tested for nucleic acid and serum antibodies. Among them, 73 were negative for nucleic acid testing and 1 was positive (Case 1145), 6 people are inspecting; Sixty-one people had negative serum antibodies and 19 people were under test.

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(6)日公布國內新增1例本土COVID-19確定病例(案1174)，為本國籍30多歲男性，為機場防疫旅館工程部員工，近期無出國史，因業務需要，經常與房務部往來，並與案1120及案1129有密切接觸。
指揮中心表示，案1174於4月29日配合機場防疫旅館清空計畫前往集中檢疫所，當日採檢之核酸檢測及血清抗體皆為陰性，5月3日起陸續出現喉嚨痛、發燒及肌肉痠痛等情形，5月4日回報症狀後，由檢疫所安排至醫院採檢，於今日確診(Ct值17)。由於個案發病前2天至住院隔離前皆在集中檢疫所，未與他人接觸，故無匡列接觸者。
指揮中心指出，該旅館截至目前共計5名員工確診(案1120、案1127至案1129、案1174)；另4月19日至4月28日期間於該旅館工作之外包商、工讀生及離職員工等共80人，皆已採檢核酸及血清抗體，其中核酸檢測73人陰性、1人陽性(案1145)、6人檢驗中；血清抗體61人陰性、19人檢驗中。
