中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本5月15日、台湾では新たにCOVID-19確診症例が185例増えたが、それぞれ本土症例180例、輸入症例5例となったと発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに180人の国内症例が見つかったが、5歳から80代までの男性68人、女性112人で、発病日/検査日については、2021年4月23日～5月14日であった。 居住地については、台北市89例、新北市75例、彰化県6例、宜蘭県及び桃園県各4例、台中市及び基隆市各1例となっており、これらに関する調査が進められている」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日増えた輸入症例5例は、20代から40代の男性3人、女性2人で、フィリピン、インド、アメリカ及びベトナムから入国していた。 全員、出国日から72時間以内の陰性証明書を持って3月7日から5月12日の間に入国しており； 5月2日～13日の間に発病していた」と指摘している。
指揮センターは、これまでに新型コロナウィルス肺炎に関する通報は、国内累計で230,809例（排除された225,026例を含む）となった。 そのうち確診症例数は1,475例であり、夫々輸入症例1,078例、本土症例344例、敦睦艦隊36例、航空機感染2例及び不明1例、調査中14例（第1078号、1079号、1091号、1092号、1100号、1101号、1102号、1105号、1122号、1153号、1154号、1183号、1187号、1222号）となっている； この他、症例番号530は、欠番となっている。 確診された患者中死亡者数は12例、1,116例が隔離を解除され、347人が入院隔離中であるという。
指揮センターは、公費接種対象者は、自発的に接種を受け、早く保護力を獲得するよう要請する。ワクチンを接種することで罹患や重症化、死亡リスクを減少し、社会の集団免疫力が形成され、感染拡大の機会を低減させることができると提言する。現時点、公的資金による予防接種対象者においては、接種通知を待つ必要はなく、事前にネット予約或いは電話予約をし、健康保険証を持って、接種センターに行けば

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on May 15 that there were 185 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 180 local and 5 overseas immigrations.
According to the command center, 180 new local cases were added today, there are 68 males and 112 females, aged between under 5 years old and over 80 years old, and the date of onset/check-up date is between April 23 and May 14, today (2021). The counties and cities of cases’ residence are 89 cases in Taipei City, 75 cases in New Taipei City, 6 cases in Changhua County, 4 cases each in Yilan County and Taoyuan County, and 1 case each in Taichung City and Keelung City. Related epidemic investigations are ongoing.
The command center pointed out that the 5 newly added cases of overseas immigration today are 3 men and 2 women, aged in their 20s to 40s. They entered Taiwan from the Philippines, India, the United States and Vietnam respectively, the entry date was between March 7th and May 12th, and all had a negative test report within 3 days before the flight; the onset date was between May 2nd and 13th.
The command center stated that there were 6 new cases of COVID-19 in China today, so far, there have been a total of 230,809 notifications related to novel coronavirus pneumonia in China (including 225,026 excluded cases). Among them, 1,475 cases were confirmed, 1,078 cases of overseas immigration, 344 local cases, 36 cases of Dunmu fleet, 2 cases of aircraft infection and 1 case of unknown and 14 cases are under investigation (case #1078, 1079, 1091, 1092, 1100, 1101, 1102, 1105, 1122, 1153, 1154, 1183, 1187, 1222); Further, another case (case 530) was removed. Among the confirmed cases, 12 people died, 1,116 were released from isolation, and 347are hospitalized in isolation.

指揮中心表示，今日新增之180例本土個案為68男112女，年齡介於未滿5歲至80多歲，發病日/採檢日介於今(2021)年4月23日至5月14日，居住縣市分別為臺北市89例、新北市75例、彰化縣6例、宜蘭縣及桃園縣各4例、臺中市及基隆市各1例，相關疫情調查持續進行中。
指揮中心指出，今日新增之5例境外移入個案為3男2女，年齡介於20多歲至40多歲， 分別自菲律賓、印度、美國及越南入境 ，入境日介於3月7日至5月12日，皆持有搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告；發病日介於5月2日至13日。
