中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「本5月05日、新たにCOVID-19の輸入症例7例が確定診断されたが、フィリピン（第1155号）、インドネシア（第1156号、1159～1161号）、日本（第1157号）及び米国（第1158号）からの輸入症例だ」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「第1155号患者は、フィリピン籍の20代女性出稼ぎ労働者で、出国前72時間以内の陰性証明を持ち、2021年4月20日に就労のため来台。来台後は、集中県営所で隔離をしていた； 5月3日に隔離期間満了前検査を受けたところ本日確定診断された。 患者には来台以後無症状だったこと、隔離期間中に他人との接触がなかったことから接触者リストは作成していない」と指摘している（宮本注： 出国前72時間以内の陰性証明をもって4月20日に来台し、隔離期間終了後に、入国後16日目にして確定診断されたということです）。
指揮センターは、「第1156号患者は、インドネシア籍の30代男性漁師で、出国前72時間以内の陰性証明を持ち、2021年4月20日に就労のため来台、来台後は集中検疫所で隔離をしていたが5月3日に隔離期間満了前検査を受けたところ本日確定診断された（Ct値31）。患者には来台以後無症状だったこと、隔離期間中に他人との接触がなかったことから接触者リストは作成していない」としている（出国前72時間以内の陰性証明をもって4月20日に来台した人が、隔離期間満了後の入国後16日目にして確定診断されたということです）。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today May 5 that seven new confirmed cases of imported COVID-19 to Taiwan were from the Philippines (Case 1155), Indonesia (Case 1156, Case 1159 to Case 1161), Japan (Case 1157) and the United States (Case 1158).
The command center pointed out that Case 1155 was a Filipino female migrant worker in her 20s who came to work in Taiwan on April 20, 2021, and had a negative test report within 3 days before the flight. After entering the country, go to the centralized quarantine station for quarantine; the quarantine will be taken before the expiry of the quarantine period on May 3, and the diagnosis will be confirmed today. The case did not have symptoms while in Taiwan, and did not come into contact with others during the quarantine period, so no contacts were listed.
The command center stated that Case 1156 was an Indonesian male fisherman in his 30s who came to work in Taiwan on April 20 this year. He had a negative test report within 3 days before the flight, and went to the centralized quarantine station for quarantine after entry; Inspection was conducted before the expiration of the quarantine period on May 3, and the diagnosis was confirmed today (Ct value 31). The case did not have symptoms while in Taiwan, and did not come into contact with others during the quarantine period, so no contacts were listed.
