新疆ウィグル自治区衛生健康委員会は、2020年08月01日0時 ～ 24時の間に、新疆ウィグル自治区（生産建設兵団含む）で、 新規確診症例30例、うち29例はウルムチ市、カシュガル地区1例（ウルムチ市の流行に関連した患者）； 新増無症状感染者は9例（全てウルムチ市）； 新たに治癒退院した確診患者は7例、新たに医学観察を解除された無症状感染者は6例（全てウルムチ市）； 重症から普通型になった患者は4例だったと報告した。 当日ウルムチ市がレビューにより確診症例1例を減じた。
2020年08月01日24時時点で、新疆 （生産建設兵団を 含む）における、現有確診患者数は569例（危篤5例、重症21例）となっているが その内訳は、ウルムチ市565例、カシュガル地区2例（ウルムチ市からの輸入症例1例、ウルムチ市の流行に関連した患者1例）、昌吉州1例（ウルムチ市からの輸入症例）、生産建設兵団1例となり； 現有無症状感染者は112例だがその内訳はウルムチ市110例、 生産建設兵団1例、 昌吉州1例（ウルムチ市からの輸入症例）； 今なお医学観察を受けているものは14,640人となっている。

From 0:00 to 24:00, August 01, 2020, Health Commission of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region announced that Xinjiang (including the Production and Construction Corps) reported 30 newly diagnosed cases of novel coronavirus pneumonia, of which 29 in Urumqi, 1 in Kashgar (related to Urumqi epidemic); 9 newly added asymptomatic patients of which all are from Urumqi; 7 newly cured and discharged cases, 6 asymptomatic patients are newly lifted from their medical observation of which all are from Urumqi City; 4 severe cases are converted to normal type. On the same day,
Urumqi reduced on diagnosed case after their review.
