国家衛生計生委は、数日前に法定伝染病種の管理を一部調整した。ヒト感染H7N9鳥インフルエンザを乙類（宮本注：乙類はB類のこと）に組み入れる；これまで乙類に指定されていたH1N1新型インフルエンザを丙類（丙類はC類のこと）に組み入れ、且つ、現有の（一般の）インフルエンザに取り込んだ管理をし；高病原性鳥インフルエンザに対する甲類（A類）伝染病扱いの予防管理措置を取ってきたものを解除する、というもの。
調整後は、A型H1N1インフルエンザに対しては、季節性のインフルエンザの予防管理と同等のものとするが、重点は、疾病の流行の趨勢及びインフルエンザウィルスの変異をモニタリングし、速やかに発見し疾病に対する処置を行う。ヒト感染高病原性鳥インフルエンザに対しては、医療機構が感染者を発見した際には、症例報告のタイムリミットを現行の2時間以内から24時間以内の報告とし、甲類伝染病としての予防管理措置は取らず、患者の容体を基に、必要な治療と伝染防止措置が採られることになる。
ヒト感染H7N9鳥インフルエンザを国家の法定伝染病として管理することにしたのは、主に、疾病のモニタリング報告と予防管理活動の規範化と管理の法制化ニーズに基づくものだ。 今年、秋に入ってから全国では2名のヒト感染H7N9鳥インフルエンザ患者が見つかっている。 これまでのところ、ヒト感染H7N9

国家卫生计生委日前调整部分法定传染病病种管理。将人感染H7N9禽流感纳入法定乙类传染病；将甲型H1N1流感从乙类调整为丙类，并纳入现有流行性感冒进行管理；解除对人感染高致病性禽流感采取的甲类传染病预防、控制措施。
调整后，对于甲型H1N1流感，将同季节性流感防控一样，重点是监测疾病流行趋势和流感病毒变异情况，及时发现和处置疫情。对于人感染高致病性禽流感，医疗机构发现人感染高致病性禽流感病人时，病例报告时限从原来的2小时调整为24小时，不再采取甲类传染病的防控措施，而是根据病情采取必要的治疗和控制传播措施。
