CDCは本日（7月24日）、「世界保健機構（WHO）は、2022年（民国111年）5月からのサル痘のアウトブレイク以来、患者数が急速に増加し、影響を受けた国の数も増加が続いており、影響を受けた国では暴露リスクがあるため、緊急委員会を開催し、昨7月23日、サル痘を『国際的に懸念される公衆衛生上の緊急事態（PHEIC）』を宣言した。CDCは、積極的に緊急対応の監視・準備をするとともに、医師に対してはサル痘がすでに第二類の法定報告感染症とされていることを受け、サル痘の症例定義に合致する患者が見つかった場合には24時間以内に主管衛生機構に通報するものとし、市民にあっては、もし疑い症状が出た場合には、速やかに病院を受診し、医師に対し自らの渡航歴、暴露歴を告げねばならない」と発表した。

The CDC announced today (7/24), ” the World Health Organization (WHO) has assessed that since the global outbreak of monkeypox in May 2022, the number of cases has continued to increase rapidly and the number of affected countries has increased, and due to the possible local exposure risk in the affected countries, an emergency committee meeting was held and yesterday (7/23) declared the monkeypox outbreak a “Public Health Emergency of International Concern” (PHEIC). CDC will actively monitor and prepare for emergency response and remind physicians that monkeypox has been listed as a second-class notifiable infectious disease. If a suspected case that meets the definition of monkeypox is found, it must be reported to the competent health authority within 24 hours. If the public has suspected symptoms, they should seek medical treatment as soon as possible, and inform the doctor of their travel history and contact history. “

疾管署今（7/24）日表示，世界衛生組織(WHO)評估自今(111)年5月全球爆發猴痘疫情以來，病例數持續快速增加且受影響國家日益增多，基於受影響國當地可能具暴露風險，召開緊急委員會議，於昨（7/23）宣布猴痘疫情列為「國際關注公共衛生緊急事件」（PHEIC）。該署將積極監測及應變整備並提醒醫師，猴痘已列為第二類法定傳染病，如發現符合猴痘病例定義之疑似個案，務必於24小時內通報衛生主管機關，民眾如出現疑似症狀，應儘速就醫，告知醫師旅遊史及接觸史。
