疾病管制署（以下疾管署）は本日（1月21日）、「新たに出現したMpox clade 1のIbウイルス株が濃厚接触のあった家庭内での感染性が非常に強いことを踏まえ、世界保健機関（WHO）および欧米など先進国のガイドラインをまとめ、専門家会議の決議により、本日2025年1月21日から、Mpoxのタイプ別に患者の処置プロセスおよび接触者のリストアップに関する原則を調整することになる。重点には：アフリカ諸国などMpoxの第1系統が流行している地域への旅行歴がある場合や Mpox の第1系統の症例または疑い例との疫学的関連性がある場合は、まず現地で入院せねばならず、Mpoxクレード1ウイルス株に感染していることが確認された疑い例は、引き続き現地で入院せねばならないといったM-pox疑いのある患者が外来や救急外来で受診する場合、例えばM-poxウイルスの第1系統に感染するリスクがある場合が含まれており、自主健康管理の第一段階完了基準を満たし、状態がよい場合にのみ帰宅して第二段階の自主健康管理（つまり現行のMpox第一段階の自主健康管理に関する推奨事項は適用しない）を続けることが可能となる、更にMpox患者の初期症状が不明確であることを考慮し、欧米など先進国の勧告に従い、接触者スクリーニングの定義を当初の「発症日」から調整し、症例の「発症前の4日前」からすべての皮疹すべてに当てはめ。Mpoxの拡大リスクを減らすため、かさぶたが剥がれるまでそのままにしておくといったことが含まれている」と発表した。

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(21)日表示，基於新興的M痘第1分支Ib病毒株在密切接觸的家戶中具相當傳染性，爰綜整世界衛生組織(WHO)及歐美等先進國家之指引，並依據專家會議決議，自本(2025)年1月21日起依M痘型別調整個案處置流程及接觸者匡列原則，重點包括：疑似M痘個案於門急診就醫時，如具M痘第1分支病毒株感染風險，如：有非洲國家等M痘第1分支流行地區之旅遊史、與M痘第1分支個案或疑似個案有流行病學關聯等，須先就地收治住院；而疑似個案經檢驗確認感染M痘第1分支病毒株，則須繼續就地收治住院，待符合結束第一階段自主健康管理標準，且病況良好，方可返家進行第二階段自主健康管理(即不適用現行M痘第一階段自主健康管理建議事項)；另考量M痘患者初期症狀不明顯，依循歐美等先進國家建議，調整接觸者匡列定義，由原自個案「發病日」起，調整為自個案「發病前4天」起至病患所有皮疹均結痂脫落為止，以降低M痘傳播風險。
