2024年8月 （2024年8月01日00：00 ～ 8月31日 24：00）内の、全国（台湾香港マカオは含まず、以下同）の法定伝染病例は719,686例（宮本注： 前月は1,023,231例； 303,545人減）、死亡者数は2,366例（前月は2,431例； 65例減に転）であった。
うち、
A（甲）類伝染病では発症6例、うちペストで2例、コレラで4例； 死亡はペストの1例。
B（乙）類伝染病では、新型コロナウイルス感染以外（『中国は何が何でも習近平政権の失策といわれたくない様で、新型コロナをリスト上には入れたくない』という完全なる中国政府の意思表示？）で、発症353,676例 （前月は405,795例： 52,119例減に転）、死亡2,364例（前月は2,426例： 62例減に転）が報告されている。うち、SARSやポリオ、ヒト感染高病原性鳥インフルエンザ、ジフテリアとH7N9型鳥インフルエンザでは発症・死亡例なし。報告されている発症データの病種ワースト5は、ウィルス性肝炎、梅毒、肺結核、百日咳および淋病（梅毒が2位にアップ、肺結核が3位にダウン）で、B類伝染病報告総数の94.2%を占めていた。
同期、C（丙）類伝染病では、発症数は366,004例（前月は617,431例なので251,427例減）、死亡は1例（前月は5例なので4例減に転）であった。 発症データの3位までの病種は、インフルエンザ、その他感染性下痢症と手足口病（3位と4位が入れ替わった）であり、C（丙）類伝染病報告総数の97.5％を占めていた。

In August 2024 (0:00 on August 1, to 24:00 on August 31), the country (excluding Hong Kong, Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan, the same hereinafter) reported a total of 719,686 cases and 2,366 deaths.
In Class A infectious diseases, total of 6 cases, including 2 cases of plague and 4 cases of cholera; 1 person died of plague.
In Class B infectious diseases, a total of 353,676 cases and 2,364 deaths were reported except for COVID-19 infection. There was no report of incidents and morbidity in SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), poliomyelitis, Human infection with highly pathogenic avian influenza, diphtheria, and human infection with H7N9 avian influenza; The top five reported cases were Viral hepatitis, syphilis, tuberculosis, whooping cough and gonorrhea; these five diseases account for 94.2% of the total number of reported cases of Class B infectious diseases.

2024年8月（8月1日0时至8月31日24时），全国（不含香港、澳门特别行政区和台湾地区，下同）共报告法定传染病719686例，死亡2366人。
甲类传染病共报告发病6例，其中鼠疫2例、霍乱4例；死亡1人，为鼠疫死亡病例。
乙类传染病中，除新型冠状病毒感染外，共报告发病353676例，死亡2364人。传染性非典型肺炎、脊髓灰质炎、人感染高致病性禽流感、白喉和人感染H7N9禽流感无发病、死亡报告。报告发病数居前5位的病种依次为病毒性肝炎、梅毒、肺结核、百日咳和淋病，占乙类传染病报告病例总数的94.2%。
