2022年08月 （2022年08月01日00：00 ～ 08月31日 24：00）内の、全国の法定伝染病例は658,201例（宮本注： 前月は1,174,894例； 516,693人減に転）、死亡者数は2,568例（前月は2,003例； 565人増に転）であった。
うち、
A（甲）類伝染病では、コレラで6例（死亡0例）、コレラで発症0例（死亡0例）の報告があった。
B（乙）類伝染病はSARS、ポリオ、ヒト感染高病原性鳥インフルエンザ、H7N9型鳥インフルエンザとジフテリアで死亡なし以外、残22種については、発症308,822例 （前月は301,292例： 7,530人増）、死亡2,565例（前月は1,996例： 569人増に転）が報告されている。報告されている発病データの病種ワースト5は、ウィルス性肝炎、肺結核、梅毒、新型コロナウイルスと淋病（4位にCOVID-19がランクイン、ブルセラ症がランク外に）で、B類伝染病報告総数の92%を占めていた。

2022年08月01日から08月31日24時までの間、全国で新型コロナウィルス肺炎患者13,855例、死者0例が報告された。
同期、C（丙）類伝染病では、発症数は349,373例（前月は873,591例で524,218人減）、死亡は3例（前月は7例で4人減に転）であった。 発症データの3位までの病種は、インフルエンザ、その他感染性下痢と手足口病（手足口病と感染性下痢症が入れ替わった）であり、C（丙）類伝染病報告総数の97％を占めていた。

In August 2021 (0:00 on Aug. 1, 2021 to 24:00 on Aug. 31), the country (excluding Hong Kong, Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan, the same hereinafter) reported a total of 658,201 cases and 2,568 deaths.
Among them, in the Class A infectious diseases, 6 cases of plague (no death case) were reported.
There was no report of morbidity in SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), poliomyelitis, Human infection with highly pathogenic avian influenza, diphtheria, and human infection with H7N9 avian influenza, have no reports of morbidity and death, the remaining 22 kinds of Class B infectious diseases reported a total of 308,822 cases and 2,565 deaths. The top five reported cases were Viral hepatitis, tuberculosis, syphilis, brucellosis and gonorrhea; these five diseases account for 92% of the total number of reported cases of Class B infectious diseases.
From 00:00 on Aug. 1 to 24:00 on Aug. 31, a total of 13,855 diagnosed cases and no (0) deaths of novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) were reported in Mainland China.
In the same period, there was no incidence and morbidity report of filariasis in Class C infectious diseases, and

2022年8月（2022年8月1日0时至8月31日24时），全国（不含香港、澳门特别行政区和台湾地区，下同）共报告法定传染病658201例，死亡2568人。
其中，甲类传染病中霍乱报告发病6例，无死亡病例报告。乙类传染病中传染性非典型肺炎、脊髓灰质炎、人感染高致病性禽流感、白喉和人感染H7N9禽流感无发病、死亡报告，其余22种乙类传染病共报告发病308822例，报告死亡2565人。报告发病数居前5位的病种依次为病毒性肝炎、肺结核、梅毒、新型冠状病毒肺炎以及淋病，占乙类传染病报告病例总数的92%。8月1日0时至8月31日24时，全国31个省（自治区、直辖市）和新疆生产建设兵团报告新型冠状病毒肺炎确诊病例13855例，无死亡病例报告。
同期，丙类传染病共报告发病349373例，报告3人死亡。报告发病数居前3位的病种依次为流行性感
