日本医学出版の渡部様から、『COVID-19の発生経過を中国側、地元武漢市、省、国家 はどう捉えていたか？』と題する巻末コラムの執筆のご依頼を受けて、これまでのコラムや最近の日経バイオテクのコラムとは異なる形式での執筆に挑戦してみました。 お題は前述のように決められ、 「時系列で現地情報を中心に、日付、情報元 を箇条書きで＋コメントで」、 「視点が 現地情報をもとにしていますので それなりのエビデンスで報告できるかと個人的には思って」、「巻末のコラム欄で見開き2ページです」との内容に関するご要望とともに、 「次号の発刊に間に合えば、 緊急追加で ご執筆コメントを」というオリエンテーションを受け、 一瞬戸惑った 私でしたが、 こういう 『新たなこと』 にチャレンジするのもまた楽しきことかなと考えて 2,200文字強を一気に書き上げてみました： 笑

武漢市中心医院の李文亮医師によるこのWeChat（日本のLINEのようなもの）が中国初のCOVID-19発生を告げるものとなった。 彼は「検査報告書とCT画像」をWeChat上に第一報として「SARS患者の発生」と発信、1時間後には「コロナウィルスは確定（実際このウィルス名はSARS-CoV-2と命名されている）、現在タイプを特定中」と補足した。 つまり武漢市で最初に声を上げたのは李文亮医師、市衛健委がこれに呼応して調査を実施したところ、武漢市衛健委の12月31日『公式情報（以下の発表に続く）』ではさらに患者を発見し、27名までが市場に関係していたと突き止めた形になった。
上は、【病院経営 Master Vol.7.3】 における私のコラムの 冒頭数行を示したものですが、 基本的にご要望に基づき、 発信メディアと日時を明らかにしつつ、 「メディアが伝えようとしたことに宮本のコメント」 を書き綴ったものの一部です。
7月に入って以後の香港の患者急増（7月1日～ 31日の31日間に 香港で見つかった感染者数は1,946人となり、1月23日以後の香港感染者総数 3,272人に占める割合が63.2%を占めていることや 医療の経験・技量が上がっているはずの香港で、 なぜか死者数が急増）や、新疆ウィグル自治区、遼寧省（大連）などの感染者急増などについて 書くことができなかったことは心残りですが、「発刊時点での情況ということで割り切りを」と言われるも 印刷媒体ですのでこればかりは仕方ないですね。
実は、渡部様には 2016年の国際医療福祉大学大学院で 中国の感染症 に関する講演を行った際に知己を得て以来、私の中国感染症情報メールをお読みいただいていました中から今回のご依頼に繋がったものと考えていますが、少しでも 中国駐在員の方や在日の中国・台湾・香港の方のお役に立てればと医師でもない私が 10年以上中国の感染症情報を追いかけてきてよかったなと考えます。

This WeChat written by Dr. Li Wenliang of Wuhan City Hospital was the first to announce the outbreak of COVID-19 in China. He sent the “inspection report and CT image” as the first report on WeChat, saying “the occurrence of SARS patients”.
