疾病管制署（以下、疾管署）は本日（8月5日）、「台湾で新たに輸入マラリア症例1例が確認された。患者は10代の外国籍男性だが、今年（2025年）7月上旬に西アフリカのトーゴ共和国を訪れていたが、マラリア予防薬を服用しておらず、本人によると現地で蚊に刺されていた7月28日、台湾に入国する前に発熱や悪心、嘔吐、下痢及び喘ぎなどの症状が現れており、入国後、症状が改善しないためクリニックを2度受診したが、後に病院の救急に転送され、8月1日に通報後の検査で熱帯マラリアへの感染が確定されたが、患者は現在入院治療中だ。衛生単位は患者の健康状況及び後続の検査結果をフォローアップしている。
疾病管制署のモニタリングデータによると、今年8月4日時点で、マラリアの輸入症例数は計15例に上り、過去19年間（2007～2025年）の同時期と比較して最多となっているが、症例の年齢は10代～60代と幅広く、アフリカ諸国が主な感染地となっており、うち12例は熱帯熱マラリア、2例が三日熱マラリア、

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) announced today (August 5) a new case of imported malaria in Taiwan. The patient is a foreign male in his teens who traveled to the Republic of Togo in West Africa in early July 2025. He has not taken malaria preventive medication and reported being bitten by mosquitoes there. Prior to entering Taiwan on July 28, he developed symptoms including fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and shortness of breath. Upon arrival, he sought medical attention twice due to persistent symptoms. He was subsequently transferred to a hospital emergency room and, on August 1, was diagnosed with falciparum malaria. He is currently hospitalized and receiving treatment. Health authorities are continuously monitoring his health and subsequent test results.
CDC’s monitoring data shows that as of August 4th this year, there have been a total of 15 imported cases of malaria, the highest number recorded in the same period over the past 19 years (2007-2025). 疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(5)日公布國內新增1例境外移入瘧疾病例，為10多歲外國籍男性，今(2025)年7月上旬曾前往西非多哥共和國，未服用瘧疾預防用藥，且自述於當地曾被蚊子叮咬。7月28日入境臺灣前即出現發燒、噁心、嘔吐、腹瀉及呼吸喘等症狀，入境後因症狀未改善2度至診所就醫，後由診所轉醫院急診，於8月1日經通報檢驗確認感染惡性瘧，個案目前住院治療中，衛生單位持續追蹤個案健康狀況及後續檢驗結果。
