疾病管制署（以下疾管署）は本日（10月21日）、「国内で新たにチクングニア熱の輸入症例2例が増えたが、患者は台湾国籍の50代の同居家人で、金門県に居住している。2025年10月初旬に中国広東省潮州市旅行10月7日に金門に戻ったが、10月9日から発熱や関節痛、紅疹などの症状が相次ぎ現れたため10月14日に病院を受診し、検査を経て確診された。
患者2例はいずれも回復しているが、経過観察が11月6日まで実施される。衛生単位は、両症例が潜伏期間中に中国広東省への渡航歴があったことを突き止め、中国国外からの輸入症例と診断した。ウイルス血症期中、症例の主な活動場所は自宅であり、衛生単位は、既に住居における蚊の密度調査及び化学的な防除措置を実施しているとともに、近隣住民の健康状態監視の強化や地元医療機関への警戒レベルの向上を促している」と発表。
疾管署統計によると、今年（2025年）10月20日時点では累計28例のチクングニア熱の確定症例が報告されているが、全て海外からの輸入であり、感染した国家をみると、インドネシアが16例と最多で、フィリピンの7例、中国広東省の3例、スリランカ及びバングラデシュ（各1例）がこれに次ぐ；現在、輸入症例数は、過去 6 年間の同期（2020～2024年の同期は1～15例）と比して依然最多となっている。
疾管署は「今年はこれまでに（宮本注：世界では）、累計で44万人以上の症例と155例の死者が出いるが、米州で最多となっている。 このうち、ブラジルでの流行が最も深刻である； 欧州では、フランスでの流行が今年に入って増加し、イタリアでも地方での感染例が報告されているほか、フランス領レユニオン島とマヨット島では流行が鈍化している；
アジアの中国広東省での流行は今年7月の突発から流行が継続しており、直近の1週間で累計感染者数は約2万例、新規感染者数は2,086例となっているが、主に江門市に分布しており、仏山市、深圳市、広州市がこれに次いでいる。インドやバングラデシュ、スリランカ、タイ、フィリピン及びインドネシアでも症例が報告されている； アフリカのモーリシャス共和国とケニア等でも症例が発生している」と指摘している。

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) announced today (October 21) that there were two new imported cases of Chikungunya virus disease in Taiwan. The two are Taiwanese nationals in their 50s living together in Kinmen County. They traveled to Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province, China in early October this year (2025) and returned to Kinmen on October 7. They began to experience symptoms such as fever, joint pain, and rash on October 9th.
They went to the hospital for treatment on October 14th and were diagnosed after testing. Both cases have recovered and will continue to be monitored until November 6th. Health authorities found that the cases had a history of travel to Guangdong Province, China during their incubation period and are considered imported cases from outside China. The cases’ primary activity location during their viremia was their residence. Health authorities have conducted mosquito density surveys and implemented chemical control measures at the cases’ residences.

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(21)日表示，國內新增2例屈公病境外移入病例，為本國籍50多歲同住家人，居住於金門縣，今(2025)年10月初至中國廣東省潮州市旅遊，10月7日返回金門，10月9日起陸續出現發燒、關節痛、紅疹等症狀，於10月14日至醫院就診，經採檢送驗後確診。
2名個案均已痊癒，將持續監測至11月6日。衛生單位調查發現，個案潛伏期間具中國廣東省旅遊史，研判為中國境外移入個案。個案病毒血症期間主要活動地為其住處，衛生單位已針對個案住處進行病媒蚊密度調查及化學防治等防治工作，同時加強附近居民健康監測，並請當地醫療院所提高通報警覺。
疾管署統計，今年截至10月20日累計28例屈公病確定病例，均為境外移入，感染國家以印尼(16例)為多，其次為菲律賓(7例)、中國廣東省(3例)、斯里蘭卡及孟加拉(各1例)；目前境外移入病例數仍為近6年同期最高(2020-2024年同期介於1-15例)。
