疾管署表示，預防流感及新冠併發重症最有效的方法是接種疫苗，今年度公費流感疫苗即將於10月1日分2階段開打，疫苗接種期程與對象與去年相同，疾管署已採購共647萬9,080劑之公費流感疫苗，並可視實際需求額外增購20萬劑；第1階段自10月1日起，接種對象包括65歲以上長者、55歲以上原住民、安養/長期照顧(服務)等機構對象、滿6個月以上至國小入學前幼兒、具潛在疾病者(含高風險慢性病人、BMI≧30者、罕病及重大傷病患者)、孕婦、6個月內嬰兒父母、醫事及衛生防疫相關人員、國小至高中/職/五專三年級學生、幼兒園及居家托育人員、禽畜及動物防疫相關人員等11類；第2階段則自11月1日開打，接種對象新增50至64歲無高風險慢性病成人。提醒符合今年度接種資格的民眾屆時踴躍前往接種，俾於流感疫情高峰期來臨前獲得足夠保護力。
